Sagas of Lumin is the first game from Elos Games & Arts, a small independent studio founded in 2023. Its public history runs from a short concept trailer in December 2023 through a free demo in 2025, a publishing deal with GameDev.ist in February 2026, a move from Early Access to a full release in July 2026, and a closed playtest that was expanded in October 2026.
Studio
Elos Games & Arts appears on Steam as the developer "Elos Games And Arts". Its legal entity is Elos Games Inc, the name on the game's copyright line. The studio says it was founded in 2023 and began operations in 2024, and that it focuses on premium single-player PC games set in large, story-driven fantasy worlds. It describes itself as a small team with limited resources. Ozguncan Gumrah is the studio's co-founder, CEO and creative director, and posts on the game's Steam forums.
Gumrah has said that Sagas of Lumin began as a tabletop role-playing game created in the late 1990s and early 2000s, during high school.
The full title already appears on the December 2023 concept trailer, but in several 2024 posts, including the first Steam news post and both motion-capture videos, the studio called the project simply Lumin, and a September 2024 video linked to the Steam page under that shorter name. This suggests the store page was once titled Lumin.
Publisher
On February 13, 2026 the studio announced that it had teamed up with GameDev.ist, which is now listed as publisher on Steam. The same post revealed the game's Roadmap.

Two videos in 2024 showed sessions with martial arts instructors Cengizhan Ilkyaz, Nehar Eren and Kerem Can Demirci, who the studio said were helping create movements rooted in real martial arts. The second session also credited an outside motion-capture team.

Visual style and music
Asked in October 2026 why the graphics looked washed out, the CEO said that, with games increasingly approaching photorealism, the team chose its visual style to evoke some of the spirit of older games: "We wanted the game to feel like a game." Replying to another player who called the combat animations nostalgic, the CEO agreed that this had been one of the studio's goals, while saying the team was also working to improve the animations.
The main theme, "The Lumin", was published in April 2025. During the demo period the developer acknowledged shortcomings in the music and sound and said work on them was continuing. As of October 2026, no composer, voice cast or game engine has been credited in any official source.
