11Overview2233Spirit cultivation is the process of developing your spirits to their full competitive potential in Roco Kingdom: World. Raw level alone is not enough to succeed in high-level combat; trainers must also optimize talent tiers, natures, individual values, bloodlines, and awakenings to get the most out of every spirit on their team.4455Cultivation starts the moment you catch or hatch a spirit and continues well beyond the level cap. Early on, simply gaining experience and evolving your spirits is the primary focus. In the mid-game, effort values and bloodline selection become available, offering meaningful stat customization. At the endgame, awakening pushes spirits to peak performance. This article walks through each system in the order you will typically encounter them.6677Six Dimensions (六维)8899Every spirit has 6 core stats, collectively known as the Six Dimensions. These stats determine a spirit's performance in every aspect of combat. Understanding what each stat does helps you make informed decisions about cultivation investments.101011111212StatDescriptionRole ImpactHP (Hit Points)Total health pool; determines how much damage a spirit can absorbHigher HP benefits all roles, especially tanksPhysical AttackDetermines damage dealt by physical movesCritical for physical sweepers and brawlersPhysical DefenseReduces incoming damage from physical movesEssential for physical walls and tanksSpecial AttackDetermines damage dealt by special movesCritical for special sweepers and castersSpecial DefenseReduces incoming damage from special movesEssential for special walls and support spiritsSpeedDetermines turn order when move priority is tiedFaster spirits act first in most exchanges1313A spirit's final stat values are calculated from a combination of base stats (determined by species), talent, nature modifiers, individual values, and effort values. Each of these layers contributes to the overall total, which is why thorough cultivation can create a huge performance gap between an optimized spirit and an unoptimized one of the same species.14141515Talent Tiers (天分)16161717Talent is an innate quality rating assigned to a spirit when it is first obtained. It affects the spirit's overall stat growth potential. There are four talent tiers, each representing a different baseline.18181919Talent TierChineseInitial AptitudeDescriptionAverage一般般Low starting aptitudeLowest tier. Suitable for casual play but not ideal for competitive use.Decent还不错Mid-low aptitudeAcceptable baseline. Can be improved with investment but starts behind higher tiers.Quite Good相当好Mid-high aptitudeStrong starting point. Good for most content without heavy rerolling.Excellent了不起10 (optimal)Best possible tier. A spirit with Excellent talent and aptitude of 10 has the highest stat ceiling.2020When hunting for spirits to invest in, always check the talent tier first. An Excellent talent spirit will always outperform an Average talent spirit of the same species at the same level, assuming equal cultivation in other areas. For competitive play, Excellent is the standard baseline trainers aim for.21212222Personality/Nature System (性格)23232424Each spirit has a nature that boosts one stat by 10% and reduces another by 10%. There are 25 natures in total: 20 that modify stats and 5 neutral natures with no effect. Choosing the right nature is critical because the 10% modifier scales with all other cultivation investments.25252626The optimal nature depends on the spirit's role. Physical attackers want natures that boost Physical Attack (Adamant) or Speed (Jolly) while reducing Special Attack, which they do not use. Special attackers want Modest (+Special Attack, -Physical Attack) or Timid (+Speed, -Physical Attack). Tanks should boost their primary defensive stat.27272828For a complete list of all 25 natures and detailed recommendations by role, see the dedicated Natures article.29293030Individual Values (个体资质)31313232Individual values (IVs) are innate stat modifiers unique to each individual spirit, even among the same species. They represent the genetic potential of a spirit and contribute directly to final stat calculations. Higher IVs mean higher stats at every level.33333434IVs can be rerolled using an Adaptation Key, which is crafted from 10 Wish Stars and 300,000 Roco Shells (available as a weekly craft). Individual IVs can also be improved one point at a time using Ability Keys, which add +1 to a specific stat's individual aptitude value. Because both items are resource-intensive and weekly-limited, plan your IV improvements carefully.35353636ItemEffectCostAdaptation KeyRerolls all individual aptitude values at once10 Wish Stars + 300,000 Roco Shells (weekly craft)Ability Key+1 to a specific stat's individual aptitudeRare event rewards, endgame content3737Bloodline System (血脉)38383939Every spirit carries a bloodline, an innate property that influences its passive abilities in combat. There are four distinct bloodline categories, each offering a different strategic benefit.40404141Bloodline TypeChineseEffectStrategic UseLeader Bloodline首领血脉Unlocks leader-related passives and evolution cooperation magicBest for spirits that serve as the centerpiece of your teamElement Bloodline系别血脉Grants element-specific passives that enhance moves matching the spirit's typeIdeal for spirits with a strong same-type attack bonus (STAB) strategyCorruption Bloodline污染血脉Originates from corrupted spirits. The modification is not free and requires planning.454546461 Bloodline Medicine (primary reagent)10 Spirit Shards (gathered from releasing duplicate spirits)30,000 Roco Coins (the main in-game currency)47474848Switching a spirit's bloodline resets any progress tied to the previous bloodline, so only commit to a change when you are certain the new bloodline better fits your team strategy.49495050Awakening System (觉醒)51515252Awakening is the endgame cultivation system. It is unlocked once a spirit reaches Level 60 and has achieved 5-star growth (the maximum growth rating). Awakening pushes a spirit beyond its normal stat ceiling and unlocks powerful new effects. Each awakening consumes Soul Ring Imprints (灵魂环印), a rare material obtained from high-level content.53535454Each spirit can undergo up to 5 awakenings. The awakenings are sequential: you must complete the first before attempting the second, and so on.55555656Awakening Bonuses57575858Each awakening grants three key bonuses:59596060BonusPer AwakeningMax (5 Awakenings)Same-Type Damage Bonus+15%+75% total same-type damage increaseType Polarization (Extremization)+45%Maximizes STAB damage output for offensive spiritsType Dulling+45%Reduces damage from types the spirit is weak to; ideal for defensive spirits6161Choosing between Type Polarization (Extremization) and Type Dulling depends on the spirit's role. Offensive sweepers almost always prefer Extremization for maximum damage output. Tanks and pivot spirits benefit more from Dulling to survive hits they would normally be weak to.62626363Evolution System64646565Most spirits in Roco Kingdom: World evolve through three distinct phases. Evolution is triggered by reaching specific level thresholds.66666767StageLevel RequiredWhat ChangesPhase I to Phase IILevel 16Significant stat increases; appearance changes; may learn a new movePhase II to Final FormLevel 32Major stat boost; final appearance; unlocks full move poolSuper EvolutionLevel 100Ultimate form requiring significant investment; massive stat ceiling increase6868Some spirits require special conditions for evolution beyond just reaching the level threshold. Check the spirit's entry in the spirit catalog for any additional requirements.69697070Leader Evolution71717272Beyond standard evolution, select spirits can evolve into Leader Forms with enhanced passives and abilities. Leader Evolution requires specific conditions and materials beyond normal level thresholds.73737474A notable example is the Flower God in leader form, which gains a passive ability that regenerates 7 energy per turn. This passive changes how the spirit operates in the energy system, allowing it to use high-cost moves more frequently without needing to spend turns on Gather Energy.75757676Rainbow Perfect Spirits77777878Rainbow Perfect Spirits represent the pinnacle of spirit quality, featuring optimal stats across all categories. There are three known methods for obtaining them.79798080Fated Flower Seeds + Rainbow Balls: Available through a limited monthly selection system. Players choose from a curated pool and use Rainbow Balls to perfect the spirit's stats.Map Treasure Eggs + Rainbow Balls: Treasure eggs found through exploration can be combined with Rainbow Balls to produce rainbow-quality spirits.Friend Spirit Blessing Breeding + Rainbow Balls: The optimal method. Breeding spirits with the Friend Blessing system and then applying Rainbow Balls yields the best results with the most control over the outcome.81818282Key Cultivation Items83838484Spirit cultivation relies on a variety of resources, each tied to a specific aspect of development.85858686ItemPrimary UseHow to ObtainAdaptation KeyRerolls individual aptitude values10 Wish Stars + 300,000 Roco Shells (weekly craft)Ability Key+1 individual aptitude value for a specific statRare event rewards, endgame contentBroken Magic Mirror (残缺魔镜)Removes the nature's negative stat effect while keeping the positive bonus15 Wish Stars + 200,000 Roco Shells (weekly craft)Bloodline MedicineChanges a spirit's bloodline typeCrafting, boss drops, limited event shopsSkill StonesTeach specific skills or replace existing movesBoss drops, rare exploration finds, event shopsSoul Ring Imprints (灵魂环印)Required for each awakening stage (up to 5)High-level dungeons, weekly boss challenges, ranked PvP rewardsStat FruitsAdd effort values (EVs) to a specific statFruit gardens, event rewards, shop purchasesExperience FruitsGrant EXP directly to a spiritStory rewards, exploration, daily login bonusesRainbow BallsUsed in combination with breeding or eggs to create Rainbow Perfect SpiritsEvents, premium shop, high-tier rewards8787Cultivation Roadmap88888989Below is a recommended order for cultivating your spirits from fresh catch to fully optimized competitive form.90909191Catch or hatch a spirit with Excellent talent tier and aptitude of 10.
