Overview
Fire Spark (火花) is one of the three starter spirits available at the beginning of Roco Kingdom: World. It is a Fire-type spirit and widely regarded as the best choice for fast early-game progression. With the highest Physical Attack among all starters and exceptional Speed, Fire Spark rewards an aggressive, offense-first playstyle that cuts through the opening chapters with minimal friction.
Fire Spark's element type gives it natural advantages over Grass, Ice, Bug, and Mechanical opponents, all of which appear frequently in the early zones. Fire types are weak to Water, Ground, and Rock. Players who value efficient leveling and quick clears will find Fire Spark to be an outstanding companion from the very first battle.
Spirit Profile
Attribute | Value |
|---|---|
Chinese Name | 火花 |
Element | |
Category | Starter Spirit |
Evolution Stage | Base Form (Stage I) |
Base Species Value | ~407 |
Signature Trait | Ignition (+20% Phys.Atk per Fire skill) |
First Evolution Level | 16 |
Final Evolution Level | 36 |
Super Evolution Level | 100 |

Evolution Chain
Fire Spark follows a four-stage evolution path. Each evolution brings substantial stat increases and unlocks new abilities. The final super-evolution transforms it into a fearsome physical powerhouse.
Stage | Name | Chinese | Level | Species Value |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Base | Fire Spark | 火花 | 1 | ~407 |
Stage 2 | Flame Blaze | 焰火 | 16 | ~405 |
Stage 3 | Fire God | 火神 | 36 | 636 |
Super Evolution | Inferno War God | 烈火战神 | 100 | Higher |
The jump from Fire Spark to Flame Blaze at level 16 is one of the earliest evolution thresholds among spirits, giving Fire Spark users a power spike that typically arrives before players leave the southern zones. The final evolution into Fire God at level 36 cements the spirit as a top-tier physical attacker, and the super-evolution at level 100 into Inferno War God pushes it into endgame territory with dramatically higher stats.
Stats
Fire God (the Stage 3 form) defines Fire Spark's identity as a physical glass cannon:
Stat | Value | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Physical Attack | 156 | Highest among all three starters |
Speed | 130 | Fastest starter; enables first-strike plays |
HP | Moderate | Vulnerable to sustained pressure |
Physical Defense | Low | Glass cannon profile |
Special Attack | Low | Reinforces physical-only build path |
Special Defense | Moderate | Some resilience against special moves |
The combination of high Physical Attack and Speed means Fire God typically acts first in combat and hits hard enough to eliminate opponents before they can respond. This stat profile synergizes perfectly with the Ignition trait.
Trait: Ignition
Fire Spark's signature trait is Ignition. Every time Fire Spark (or its evolutions) uses a Fire-type skill, it gains a +20% Physical Attack boost. This buff is stackable, meaning repeated fire skill usage compounds the damage increase over the course of a fight. In prolonged encounters, Ignition turns an already strong attacker into an overwhelming force.
After the Leader transformation (available through advanced spirit cultivation), the Ignition bonus increases to +30% per Fire skill. At this level, just two Fire skills push Physical Attack well beyond what most opponents can withstand.
Evolution Materials
Each evolution stage requires specific materials gathered from different zones:
Evolution | Materials Required | Source |
|---|---|---|
Fire Spark -> Flame Blaze | 10 Flame Fragments | Fire Flame Puppet, Lava Region (30% drop rate) |
Flame Blaze -> Fire God | 20 Molten Core Crystals | Lava Colossus, Vesuvius Volcano (daily limited) |
Fire God -> Inferno War God | 30 Celestial Angel Feathers | Level 100 super-evolution quest |
Flame Fragments have a reasonable 30% drop rate from Fire Flame Puppets in the Lava Region, so collecting 10 should not take long. Molten Core Crystals from the Lava Colossus are daily-limited, meaning you will need to return to Vesuvius Volcano across multiple days. The Celestial Angel Feathers for super-evolution are only available once Fire God reaches level 100.
Key Moves
Fire Spark and its evolutions learn a powerful set of Fire-type and physical moves throughout their progression:
Move | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
Explosion Fireball | Fire | High-damage fire projectile; bread-and-butter attack at all stages |
Scorching Breath | Fire | Close-range fire attack with a chance to inflict burn |
Flame Storm | Fire | Area-of-effect fire attack hitting all enemies; excellent for group encounters |
Flame Kick | Fire | Physical fire melee attack with high base power and priority frames |
Flame Charge | Fire | Rushing attack that deals damage and boosts Speed by one stage |
Heat Bomb | Fire | Delayed-detonation attack dealing massive damage after a one-turn charge |
Early-Game Combo
In the opening chapters, the most effective rotation is Explosion Fireball + Scorching Breath. Explosion Fireball deals strong upfront damage, and following up with Scorching Breath applies a burn for additional damage over time. Most early opponents fall within these two moves, especially when Ignition stacks are active.

Advanced Combo
Once Fire God unlocks its full moveset, the optimal rotation becomes Energy Absorption -> Flame Storm -> Explosion Fireball. Energy Absorption recovers skill energy while setting up, Flame Storm clears grouped enemies and builds Ignition stacks, and Explosion Fireball finishes any remaining targets with boosted Physical Attack.
Recommended Natures
Nature selection depends on whether you are building Fire Spark for PVE or PVP:
Build | Nature | Stat Boost | Stat Reduction | Reasoning |
|---|---|---|---|---|
PVE | Adamant (固执) | +Physical Attack | -Special Attack | Maximizes clear speed since Fire Spark's kit relies entirely on physical damage |
PVP | Jolly (开朗) | +Speed | -Special Attack | Acting first is often the difference between winning and losing in competitive battles |
Since Fire Spark never uses special moves, both natures sacrifice the unused Special Attack stat. Use a Broken Mirror to remove the negative stat penalty, or a Mirror Frame to reroll the nature entirely.
Talent Priority
When investing in Fire Spark's talent tree through spirit cultivation, prioritize the following:
Critical strike rate to 35%+. Fire Spark's high Physical Attack means critical hits deal enormous damage. Reaching the 35% threshold ensures roughly one in three attacks crits, which pairs devastatingly with Ignition stacks.
Flame penetration (15% resistance ignore). After capping critical rate, invest in flame penetration. This allows Fire-type attacks to ignore 15% of the target's resistance, keeping damage high even against opponents who stack defensive stats.
Fire Team Composition
At endgame, Fire Spark (as Fire God or Inferno War God) is the anchor of fire-focused teams. Common fire team pairings include:
Fire God + Flaming Worm: Flaming Worm provides secondary fire damage and can set up burn effects for Fire God to exploit with Ignition stacks.
Fire God + Dimo: Dimo's Light-type coverage patches Fire God's weakness to Ground and Rock while providing a different element for diverse team composition.
Fire God + Swan: Swan's crowd control and healing support keeps Fire God alive through fights where its low defenses would otherwise be a liability.
Tips
Fire Spark is part of the classic Roco Kingdom starter trio. Long-time fans often choose it for nostalgia as much as for its competitive strength.
The Ignition trait stacks have no upper limit. In very long boss fights, Fire God's Physical Attack can reach absurd levels if it keeps using Fire-type skills.
Against Water-type enemies, swap Fire Spark out immediately. Its low defenses mean even one super-effective Water hit can be devastating.
Save Heat Bomb for boss encounters where the one-turn charge time is worth the massive payoff damage.
Pair Fire Spark with a healer or shield user in dungeon runs. Its glass cannon profile means it benefits enormously from any external survivability support.
