11Overview2233Vespiquen is a Bug/Flying-type Pokemon that can be befriended in Pokemon Pokopia. Known as the Beehive Pokemon, Vespiquen is the only Pokemon in the game with the Gather Honey specialty. Despite the name suggesting it collects honey, the specialty actually works the other way around: Vespiquen accepts Honey from the player and gives a random piece of furniture in exchange. This makes Vespiquen the sole source of several exclusive furniture styles that cannot be obtained through crafting recipes or the PC Shop.4455Vespiquen works hand in hand with Combee, which has the Litter specialty and periodically drops Honey around its habitat. Together, these two Pokemon form the backbone of honey farming and furniture collection in Pokopia.6677Quick Reference8899AttributeDetailTypeBug / FlyingSpeciesBeehive PokemonSpecialtyGather Honey (exclusive)HabitatField of FlowersHabitat Requirement8 WildflowersRarityCommonTrades Per Day4Honey Per Trade3Total Daily Honey Cost1210+1011Gather Honey Specialty11121213The Gather Honey specialty is exclusive to Vespiquen. Once Vespiquen has moved into your town, walk up to it and select the "I brought some Honey" dialogue option. Vespiquen will then ask for 3 Honey in exchange for one piece of furniture. Each trade costs exactly 3 Honey, and you can complete up to 4 trades per day for a maximum daily cost of 12 Honey.13141415After completing all 4 trades, Vespiquen will let you know there is nothing left to offer until the next day. The daily limit resets at the start of each new in-game day cycle.15161617Furniture Rewards17181819The furniture received from Vespiquen is random each day. The items are drawn from five distinct furniture styles, each with its own visual theme. These pieces are exclusive to the Gather Honey exchange and cannot be obtained elsewhere.19202021Furniture StyleDescriptionSimpleMinimalist, clean designs with natural wood tonesChicModern, sleek furniture with refined detailsPlainBasic, understated pieces with neutral colorsCuteColorful, rounded furniture with playful motifsAntiqueOrnate, vintage-style pieces with dark wood finishes2122The selection rotates daily, so check back each day to see which pieces are available. Over time, consistent trading will fill out your collection across all five styles. Furniture obtained from Vespiquen can be placed in your town and in Pokemon habitats, where it contributes to raising Comfort Levels.22232324How to Befriend24252526Vespiquen appears when you create the Field of Flowers habitat. This habitat requires placing 8 Wildflowers in a connected arrangement. The most common layout is two parallel rows of four Wildflowers, but any connected configuration of eight will work.26272728You can find Wildflowers growing in the overworld or purchase Wildflower Seeds from the PC Shop and plant them yourself. Once the habitat is ready, Vespiquen will arrive as a common visitor, usually within the same in-game day. Check the Habitat Dex at any Pokemon Center PC for the exact configuration.28292930The Field of Flowers habitat also attracts Ivysaur and Venusaur, making it a productive habitat for multiple Pokemon.30313132How to Get Honey32333334Since Vespiquen consumes up to 12 Honey per day, you will want a reliable supply. There are two main ways to gather Honey in Pokopia.34353536SourceMethodDetailsFlower TilesForagingInspect sparkling flower tiles on the ground to collect Honey jars. Any type of flower tile can produce Honey randomly.CombeeLitter specialtyCombee periodically drops Honey near its habitat. Drops appear as small golden puddles that you walk over to collect.3637Combee's Litter specialty is the more passive and efficient option because it generates Honey automatically over time without any player input beyond collection.37383839Working with Combee39404041Combee and Vespiquen together create a self-sustaining loop. Combee has the Litter specialty, which causes it to drop Honey around its habitat at regular intervals. You collect the dropped Honey and trade it to Vespiquen for furniture. This cycle repeats daily with no additional resources required.41424243Combee spawns in the Pretty Flower Bed habitat, which only requires 4 Wildflowers in a tight square. Since the Field of Flowers habitat needs 8 Wildflowers, you can start with the smaller Pretty Flower Bed to get Combee producing Honey first, then expand to 8 Wildflowers to attract Vespiquen as well.43444445Automation and Farming Setup45464647The most efficient honey farming setup combines Combee and Vespiquen in the same flower area. Start with a patch of 4 Wildflowers to create a Pretty Flower Bed and attract Combee. Once Combee arrives and starts dropping Honey, expand the patch to 8 connected Wildflowers to upgrade the habitat to a Field of Flowers and bring in Vespiquen.47484849Place the flower habitat near a path you walk frequently so you naturally pick up Combee's Honey drops during your daily activities. With both Pokemon in the same area, you can collect dropped Honey and immediately trade it to Vespiquen without any travel time.49505051Wildflowers in and around the habitat also sparkle periodically, providing additional Honey when inspected. Between Combee's passive drops and the sparkling flower tiles, a well-maintained flower area generates enough Honey for all 4 daily trades with Vespiquen.51525253Tips53545455Befriend Combee before Vespiquen so you have a Honey supply ready from the start. The daily furniture selection is random, so trade every day to build a complete collection across all five styles.Furniture from Vespiquen contributes to Comfort Levels when placed in Pokemon habitats. Raising comfort unlocks benefits for the Pokemon living there. If you run low on Honey, check the Honey article for all gathering methods, including foraging spots and the Honey, Please quest.Place your flower habitat near high-traffic areas in your town. The more often you pass through, the more frequently you will spot Honey drops and sparkling tiles.55565657See Also57585859CombeeHoneyLitter Specialty and Item DropsPokemon SpecialtiesHabitat DexComfort SystemCrafting RecipesPC Shop
