Deeper cave exploration yields more fragments per trip. Experienced players report collecting around 68 fragments from a single thorough island run.

In Pokopia's post-apocalyptic Kanto setting, Sableye was drawn to the Red Crystals that formed in cave systems during the environmental catastrophe.
