11Overview2233Sableye is a Dark/Ghost-type Pokemon originally from Generation III (#302 in the National Pokedex). In Pokemon Pokopia, Sableye is exclusively available through the limited-time Sableye Event and cannot be befriended through normal gameplay outside of the event window.4455How to Obtain6677Sableye is available during the Sableye Event, which runs from April 29 to May 13, 2026 (starting at 5:00 AM local time on the first day). To participate:889+910Visit any rebuilt Pokemon Center.Speak to Sableye standing outside the Center. This registers Sableye in your Event Pokedex.Sableye's event shop opens inside the Pokemon Center, where you can exchange Red Crystal Fragments for exclusive items.10111112Prerequisites: You must have at least one rebuilt Pokemon Center and access to Dream Islands.12131314Red Crystal Fragments14151516The event uses Red Crystal Fragments as its exclusive currency. These fragments are found only inside caves on Dream Islands and are collected by using the Rock Smash transformation (learned from Hitmonchan). Deeper cave exploration yields more fragments per trip. Experienced players report collecting around 68 fragments from a single thorough island run.16171718Event Shop18191920Sableye's shop inside the Pokemon Center sells these items:20212122ItemCost (Fragments)Required for HabitatDigital Camera5NoMap and Compass5YesOil Lantern2NoSleeping Bag10NoJewel Wall Decoration (x10)2NoCamping Chair5NoCamping Cooking Pot10NoTreasure5YesAdventure Kit10YesTent Kit10No2223Buying everything costs a total of 64 Red Crystal Fragments. The three habitat-required items (Adventure Kit, Map and Compass, Treasure) cost 20 fragments combined.23242425Habitat25262627Sableye's habitat is the Treasure-Hunting Set. It requires three items from the event shop:27282829Adventure Kit (10 fragments)Map and Compass (5 fragments)Treasure (5 fragments)29303031Arrange these three items in at least a 2x2 grid to form a valid habitat. During the event, Sableye hangs around the Pokemon Center. Once the event period ends, it relocates to the Treasure-Hunting Set habitat permanently.31323233Background33343435Sableye is known for its gem-like eyes and its habit of hunting precious stones in dark caves. In Pokopia's post-apocalyptic Kanto setting, Sableye was drawn to the Red Crystals that formed in cave systems during the environmental catastrophe. Its treasure-hunting personality makes it a natural fit for the exploration-themed event.35363637Tips37383839Start collecting Red Crystal Fragments as early as possible. Visit Dream Islands every day during the event.Buy the three habitat-required items first (Adventure Kit, Map and Compass, Treasure) so Sableye has a permanent home before the event ends. The remaining shop items are cosmetic or utility. The Digital Camera and Tent Kit are nice additions but not required for anything. If you miss the event entirely, there is no confirmed rerun date. The Pokemon Company has not announced whether past events will repeat. For a full walkthrough, see the Sableye Event Guide.
