11Overview2233Quilava is a Fire-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Volcano Pokemon (Dex #225). Before battle, it turns its back on its opponent to demonstrate how fiercely its fire blazes. Quilava is the middle stage of the Johto fire starter line, between Cyndaquil and Typhlosion. It carries the Burn specialty, just like its pre-evolution Cyndaquil.4455Habitat6677Quilava can be found at two habitats.88991010Concrete Pipe Secret Base (#141)11111212A concrete pipe that hasn't been used in a long time. The Concrete Pipe Secret Base requires three Concrete Pipes and four Tall Grass, while the Fireplace Nap Spot needs just a Stone Fireplace and a wide seat. The Fireplace Nap Spot is the more compact option and also gives you a chance at encountering the rarer Typhlosion. Walk up and interact with Quilava when it appears to befriend it.27272828Specialties29293030Burn31313232Quilava has the Burn specialty. Pokemon with the Burn specialty can set fire to flammable objects. This is the same specialty as its pre-evolution Cyndaquil. If you already have Cyndaquil handling fire duties, Quilava can serve as a backup or be stationed in a different part of your island.33333434Preferences35353636CategoryDetailIdeal EnvironmentWarmFavorite FlavorSweetLikesLots of fire, Fabric, Slender objects, Metal stuff, RidesRarityCommon (both habitats)Time of DayAll (Morning, Day, Evening, Night)WeatherAll (Sunny, Cloudy, Rainy)3737Quilava shares the same preferences as Cyndaquil, favoring warm environments. In the main Pokemon series, Cyndaquil (Dex #224) evolves into Quilava at level 14, and Quilava evolves into Typhlosion (Dex #226) at level 36. In Pokopia, there is no evolution mechanic, so each member must be found at its own habitat. Cyndaquil and Quilava share the Concrete Pipe Secret Base habitat. Quilava also appears at the Fireplace Nap Spot alongside Typhlosion (Rare). Typhlosion additionally appears at Top Pop (Rare).47474848Tips49495050The Fireplace Nap Spot is the recommended habitat if you want to befriend both Quilava (Common) and Typhlosion (Rare). It only needs a Stone Fireplace and a wide seat.Since Quilava is Common at both habitats, you can build whichever one is more convenient with your current materials.Quilava's evolution family shares identical preferences: warm environments, sweet flavors, and a love of fire, fabric, slender objects, metal, and rides. One set of decorations works for all three. The Concrete Pipe Secret Base attracts both Cyndaquil and Quilava as Common visitors. If you only want to build one habitat for the family, start there.
