33 Every Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia has at least one specialty that determines what tasks it can perform in the world. Specialties range from chopping wood and generating electricity to running shops and appraising relics. There are 31 known specialties in total. Some specialties are shared by dozens of Pokemon, while others are exclusive to a single individual, making those particular Pokemon especially valuable.

55 Specialties are predetermined and cannot be changed. Each Pokemon has its set specialties when you discover it. There are no TMs, no leveling requirements, and no way to teach a new specialty to a Pokemon that does not already have it. If you need a specific specialty in a region where no Pokemon offers it, you must find one in another region and bring it along as a follower.
