11Overview2233Every Pokemon in Pokopia has a rarity tier that determines how quickly it appears after you build its habitat. Rarity is assigned per habitat, not globally; a Pokemon may be Common in one habitat and Rare in another. You can check rarity by hovering over silhouettes in the Habitat Dex. Beyond rarity, many Pokemon require specific time-of-day or weather conditions before they will appear.4455Rarity Tiers6677TierSpawn SpeedExamplesCommonAppears within minutes of building the habitatBulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Oddish, Geodude, PidgeyRareTakes significantly longer to appearIvysaur, Charmeleon, Wartortle, Slowbro, MarowakVery RareCan take hours of real time to spawnVenusaur, Blastoise, Jumpluff, Volcarona, Clefairy, Tyranitar, Blaziken8899The higher the rarity, the longer you need to wait after building the correct habitat. Rarity does not affect the habitat recipe itself; it only affects how quickly the Pokemon arrives.10101111Time of Day12121313The game follows the Nintendo Switch 2 system clock with four periods:14141515Time PeriodHoursNotable PokemonMorning6:00 AM to 12:00 PMBird and Bug-types most active; Grass and Normal-types commonDay12:00 PM to 6:00 PMFire, Fighting, and Rock-types more activeEvening6:00 PM to 12:00 AMPsychic and Fairy-types appear; Eevee notably more commonNight12:00 AM to 6:00 AMGhost-types almost exclusively appear at night; Dark-types significantly more common1616Night-Exclusive Pokemon (Confirmed)17171818PokemonTypeLocationOddishGrass/PoisonWithered WastelandVenonatBug/PoisonWithered WastelandVenomothBug/PoisonWithered WastelandZubatPoison/FlyingRocky RidgesGolbatPoison/FlyingRocky RidgesCrobatPoison/FlyingRocky RidgesGastlyGhost/PoisonRocky RidgesHaunterGhost/PoisonRocky RidgesGengarGhost/PoisonRocky RidgesMisdreavusGhostSparkling SkylandsMismagiusGhostSparkling SkylandsDuskullGhostRocky RidgesDusclopsGhostRocky RidgesDusknoirGhostRocky RidgesCleffaFairyRocky RidgesClefairyFairyRocky RidgesClefableFairyRocky RidgesMurkrowDark/FlyingBleak BeachHonchkrowDark/FlyingBleak Beach1919Day/Morning-Only Pokemon20202121Pidgey, Pidgeotto, Pidgeot, Wingull, Pelipper, Fidough, Dachsbun, and Chatot only appear during the Morning and Day periods.22222323Weather Conditions24242525Weather in Pokopia is primarily player-controlled (restored by building specific structures and completing quests). Three weather states exist: Sunny, Cloudy (default), and Rain.26262727Weather-Restricted Pokemon28282929PokemonRequired WeatherLocationCharmanderSunny or Cloudy (will not appear in Rain)Withered WastelandCharmeleonSunny or CloudyWithered WastelandCharizardSunny or CloudyWithered WastelandCacneaSunny onlyRocky RidgesGoomyRain onlySparkling SkylandsSliggooRain onlySparkling SkylandsGoodraRain onlySparkling SkylandsEmpoleonRain onlyBleak Beach3030The majority of Pokemon (over 250 of 300) spawn under all weather conditions.
