11Overview2233As your Pokemon collection grows in Pokemon Pokopia, you may notice that some Pokemon seem to disappear from your areas. This is a normal part of the game caused by the area loading limit. Each area can only display approximately 22 to 24 Pokemon at one time. When the population of an area exceeds this number, some Pokemon will not be visible or interactable until others move out of range. This guide covers every method for finding and recovering missing Pokemon.4455Method 1: Pokedex Search6677The Pokedex has a built-in search feature for locating Pokemon. Hover over the Pokemon you want to find in the Pokedex list and press the Plus (+) button. This will ask the other Pokemon in the area where to find the one you are looking for. If the missing Pokemon is loaded in the area, you will get a directional hint pointing you toward it.88991010Method 2: Fly or Teleport11111212Pokemon with the Fly or Teleport specialties can fast travel you directly to another Pokemon's location. If you have a Fly or Teleport specialist following you, open the Pokedex, select the missing Pokemon, and choose to travel to them. This is the fastest and most reliable method. It is recommended to keep at least one Fly or Teleport Pokemon in every area for this reason.13131414Method 3: Honey Luring15151616If a Pokemon is not appearing on the map due to loading limitations, you can use Honey to attract them. Using Honey draws a Pokemon back to their home or habitat, effectively forcing them to load into the visible area. This is especially useful for Pokemon that have wandered far from their assigned habitat.17171818Method 4: Wait It Out19192020Simply waiting several in-game hours will cause Pokemon to cycle through the loading system. Pokemon that were previously invisible may reappear on their own as others move around. This is the slowest method but requires no items or special abilities.21212222Methods Summary23232424MethodRequirementSpeedReliabilityPokedex SearchNoneMediumGives direction but Pokemon must be loadedFly / TeleportFly or Teleport specialty PokemonFastTravels directly to the PokemonHoney LuringHoney itemMediumForces Pokemon to return to habitatWaitNoneSlowPokemon may reappear over time2525Why Pokemon Go Missing26262727The root cause of missing Pokemon is the area loading limit. Each area renders roughly 22 to 24 Pokemon at any given moment. When you have more Pokemon than this living in one area, the extras will be unloaded and invisible. Additionally:282829-Homeless Pokemon are hardest to find: Pokemon without habitats or houses tend to wander far from any fixed point, making them especially difficult to locate.Large populations compound the problem: The more Pokemon in an area, the more will be unloaded at any given time, and the harder it becomes to find specific individuals.30-29+CauseDetailsHomeless Pokemon are hardest to findPokemon without habitats or houses tend to wander far from any fixed point, making them especially difficult to locate.Large populations compound the problemThe more Pokemon in an area, the more will be unloaded at any given time, and the harder it becomes to find specific individuals.3130Prevention Strategies323133-Build homes for every Pokemon: Pokemon with habitats and relaxation furniture stay closer to their homes, making them easier to find.Position habitats near each other: Clustering housing in a central area reduces the physical space Pokemon wander through.Build roads: Constructing roads between habitats reduces travel distance for Pokemon, keeping them closer to home.Monitor population levels: Use the PC's environment details screen to check how many Pokemon live in each area. If one area is overcrowded, consider moving Pokemon to other areas to balance the load.Keep populations under the cap: Aim for roughly 20 or fewer Pokemon per area to ensure all of them remain visible and interactable at all times.34-32+StrategyDetailsBuild homes for every PokemonPokemon with habitats and relaxation furniture stay closer to their homes, making them easier to find.Position habitats near each otherClustering housing in a central area reduces the physical space Pokemon wander through.Build roadsConstructing roads between habitats reduces travel distance for Pokemon, keeping them closer to home.Monitor population levelsUse the PC's environment details screen to check how many Pokemon live in each area.
