33 As your Pokemon collection grows in Pokemon Pokopia, you may notice that some Pokemon seem to disappear from your areas. This is a normal part of the game caused by the area loading limit. Each area can only display approximately 22 to 24 Pokemon at one time. When the population of an area exceeds this number, some Pokemon will not be visible or interactable until others move out of range. This guide covers every method for finding and recovering missing Pokemon.

55 Method 1: Pokedex Search

77 The Pokedex has a built-in search feature for locating Pokemon. Hover over the Pokemon you want to find in the Pokedex list and press the Plus (+) button. This will ask the other Pokemon in the area where to find the one you are looking for. If the missing Pokemon is loaded in the area, you will get a directional hint pointing you toward it.

It is recommended to keep at least one Fly or Teleport Pokemon in every area for this reason.

Using Honey draws a Pokemon back to their home or habitat, effectively forcing them to load into the visible area.
