11Overview2233Hide-and-Seek is a multiplayer mini-game in Pokemon Pokopia inspired by prop-hunt game modes. Up to four players take turns as seekers and hiders, with hiders able to transform into environmental objects using the Camouflage ability. The mini-game is hosted by Zorua and available in both local and online multiplayer.4455How to Unlock6677Hide-and-Seek becomes available after completing two steps:8899Progress through the Bleak Beach story until Zorua appears outside the Pokemon Center.Complete Zorua's request to learn the Camouflage transformation. This simultaneously unlocks the Camouflage ability and the Hide-and-Seek mini-game.10101111After unlocking, the player can start a Hide-and-Seek game at any time by talking to Zorua on their island.12121313How to Play141415-1615Starting a Game17161817Talk to Zorua in your village and select Hide-and-Seek. Invite up to three other players via multiplayer (online or local). One player is designated as the seeker and the rest are hiders.19182019Hider Role21202221As a hider, your goal is to avoid the seeker for as long as possible. You have several tools:232224-2523MechanicDescriptionNatural hidingHide behind trees, stalls, buildings, rocks, or any environmental features on the island.Camouflage transformationPress ZR near an object to transform into it. Ditto takes on the appearance of the object, blending into the surroundings. This is the signature mechanic that makes the mini-game unique.2624While camouflaged, Ditto's movement is slowed and interaction with other Pokemon is disabled. Stay still for the most convincing disguise, as movement while transformed can give away your position.27252826Seeker Role29273028As the seeker, your goal is to find all hidden players. Tips for seeking:31293230Check common hiding spots: behind trees, inside buildings, around stalls and furniture.Look for oddly placed objects. A barrel sitting in an unusual spot or a rock that seems out of place could be a disguised player.Watch for movement. Camouflaged players who move will reveal themselves.Bring companion Pokemon along, as they may react differently to disguised players.33313432Multiplayer Details35333634DetailInfoPlayer count2-4 playersConnection typesOnline and local wirelessGameShare supportYes (2 players in Palette Town)Roles1 seeker, 1-3 hiders37-3835Both online and local multiplayer are supported. A barrel near a storage area or a rock near a cliff face is less suspicious than one in the middle of a path.Stay completely still after transforming. Movement while camouflaged is the most common way to get caught. As a seeker, memorize what your island looks like before the game starts. Anything new or out of place is likely a hidden player.Islands with more decorations and furniture create better hiding spots. Consider decorating your island with diverse objects before hosting.Play on larger islands with more terrain variety for the best Hide-and-Seek experience. Palette Town's open sandbox space works well.
