33 "Cut Down That Fence" is a request in Pokemon Pokopia given by Machoke in Rocky Ridges. Thick wooden fences block access to the mines northwest of the Pokemon Center, and even Machoke's fists cannot break them. You need the Powered-Up Cut move from the "Make Bread" quest to slice through these barriers and reach the Smelting Furnace.

1010 Step 1: Follow Machoke to the Mines

1212 Talk to Machoke and follow it northwest from the Pokemon Center toward the mines area. You will encounter thick wooden fences blocking the path.

1616 Before attempting to cut the fences, make sure you have eaten bread to activate the Powered-Up Cut move. Regular Cut does not work on these thick fences. If you have not completed the "Make Bread" quest yet, do that first.

2020 Use Powered-Up Cut on the wooden fences blocking the path. They will shatter, opening the way to the mines. After cutting them down, you can pick up the destroyed fence pieces as decorative items.

2424 Continue through the cleared path to reach the mine area. Inside, you will find the Smelting Furnace, which allows you to smelt ores into metal ingots and glass. This unlocks an entirely new tier of crafting materials.

Regular Cut will bounce off these fences, so always keep bread in your inventory.After accessing the Smelting Furnace, build a habitat for Magmar nearby. Magmar's Burn specialty activates the furnace, making smelting much more efficient.Copper Ore is found near the mine entrance. Smelt it into Copper Ingots, which are needed for crafting the Frying Pan and other advanced items.
