Add a practical item index with recorded categories, effects and exact registered artwork.
Medicines are reusable equippable items in Phantom Blade Zero. Their effects include healing, Sha-Chi support and temporary combat bonuses. Charges run out between rests, but using the last charge does not permanently remove the item.

The use counts above are the displayed listing values. Healing Art can add 1 Medicine use for 5,000 Remnant Dust, so these values should not be treated as a universal upgraded cap.
Open the equipment menu to assign Medicine to an available slot. Up to two Medicine can be equipped at a time. A recovery item and a support item offer different responses to damage or pressure.
Rest at a Bell to restore health and refill Medicine uses. Acquiring a Medicine once makes it available for later refills; replacement copies are not required after every use.
Explore optional paths and open chests. Focus Pill has a documented chest pickup in Weeping Creek Valley. Certain Tales also award Medicine, so check quest rewards when preparing a loadout.
Healing Gourd gives immediate HP recovery, while Focus Pill, Kuye Dew and Simmering Brew heal over time. Kuye Dew has a 15-second protection effect and a separate 10-second heal. Vessel Restorative restores HP and changes natural Sha-Chi recovery speed; its 50% bonus is not a second HP restoration amount.
