Add the source-backed guide with difficulty-specific saving and recovery limits.
Soul can restore HP in Phantom Blade Zero by using the Healing Gourd or Medicine, resting at Bells and using certain life-draining weapons. Recovery items differ: some restore HP immediately, while others heal over a timed interval.
Item | Listed uses | HP recovery |
|---|---|---|
3 | 40% immediately | |
3 | 30% over 15 seconds | |
4 | 40% over 10 seconds | |
2 | 20% | |
2 | 70% |
Focus Pill also reduces Sha-Chi consumption by 30% for 15 seconds. Kuye Dew reduces damage taken by 20% for 15 seconds, separately from its 10-second heal. Vessel Restorative increases natural Sha-Chi recovery speed by 50% for 5 seconds; that is a recovery-speed bonus, not another HP percentage.
Assign Medicine in the equipment menu. Up to two Medicine can be equipped at once. Their uses are limited between refills, but using the last charge does not permanently remove the item. Rest at a Bell to restore health and refill the uses.
The counts in the table are the listed values rather than a universal upgraded maximum. Healing Art lists one additional Medicine use for 5,000 Remnant Dust.
See Medicines for the full recorded item effects and durations.
Resting at a Bell restores Soul's health to full. Certain weapons, including Outlaw Warblade, have life-draining abilities. Check the named skill's target conditions instead of assuming every weapon hit restores HP.
