Quest details

Obtain the furnace crank

Speak to the Warden near the summit Bell. Explore the nearby ladders and descend to the lower levels. Defeat the enemy guarding the area to obtain the Sha-Chi Furnace Inspection Crank.

Open the furnace

Continue down to the tower entrance. Use the crank on the mechanism that operates the furnace latch, then collect the Primal Stone revealed inside.

Return to the summit

Activate Valley Sha-Chi Tower 1st Floor Bell if needed and travel back to the summit. Give the Primal Stone to the Watchful Shadow Warden. This progresses his story; it is not a documented ending to every later part of the questline.
