Whisker Patrol
April 29, 2026 at 06:11 AM
Initial version (2026-04-29)
Whisker Patrol is the closing in-game event of the Version 1.0 launch window. It runs from May 27, 2026 through June 3, 2026 and rewards 200 Annulith for full completion. The event ties into the launch-window narrative around the Officer Whisker glider livery (the social media milestone reward) and the broader presence of Pink Paws Bank across the city. Players run themed patrol routes, sweep for low-level anomalies, and report back to Bureau staff for milestone rewards.
The event is positioned as the bridge between the first two limited banners of Version 1.0 and any post-launch content drop. It sits at the tail end of the Misty Tipsy Style (Hotori) banner and overlaps with the final week of that banner's run. Players who finish Whisker Patrol with time remaining can use the final-day Annulith payout to top off pity on the Hotori banner before it closes on June 3.

Whisker Patrol is structured as a chain of patrol-route quests handed out by the Bureau of Anomaly Control. Each route covers a different district of Hethereau, with a small set of patrol checkpoints, a low-tier anomaly sweep, and a final report-back step. Players unlock patrol routes one at a time across the event window; clearing the previous route opens the next one.
The standard route progression covers the major districts in this order:
Bridge Crossing patrol
Miguel District patrol
New Helios patrol
New Herland District patrol
Tamamochi Street patrol
Hankaku Street patrol
Unheard Shores patrol (final route, the longest one)
Each patrol route takes roughly 10 to 15 minutes for an active player. The full chain can be completed in a single weekend if a player commits to it, or paced out across the entire 8-day window. The chain does not require any specific character to be in the active party; any team that handles low-tier anomaly enemies works.
Stage | Reward |
|---|---|
Per route checkpoint | Small Beetle Coin bundle and one Senior Hunter Guide |
Per route completion | Companion Points, a Light Dye drop, and a small Annulith chunk |
Final route completion | 200 Annulith total event reward (delivered to mailbox) |
Optional bonus tasks | Daily extra patrol step rewards Beetle Coins and small upgrade material drops |
Whisker Patrol leans on the launch-window theme established by the social-media-milestone unlock of the Officer Whisker glider livery. Players who claimed the glider through the pre-registration milestone can equip it during the event for a thematic touch; the glider has no mechanical effect on the event reward payout but matches the patrol-uniform aesthetic of the route quests.
The event NPCs occasionally reference Officer Whisker as a community mascot tied to the bank-heist content of the Pink Paws Bank investigation, completing a small narrative loop that runs through the launch-window events.
Run the routes in district order if possible. The patrol checkpoints are placed to flow from one district into the next, so a clean pass through all seven routes can be done in a couple of long sessions instead of broken-up runs.
Stack with the daily commission loop. Several patrol checkpoints overlap with the standard City Commissions pickup spots, so single trips can satisfy both event progress and daily quest progress.
Use a Vehicle Requisition between routes for the cross-city travel. The checkpoints are spread out, and on-foot travel between distant districts wastes time.
Save the final 200 Annulith payout for the last days of the Misty Tipsy Style banner. The event closes June 3, the same day Hotori's banner ends, so the timing aligns cleanly.
Equip the Officer Whisker glider for traversal. The cosmetic does not change patrol mechanics but adds to the event's visual flavor and is the only thematically consistent glider livery for the event.
Take photos at each patrol checkpoint with Photo Mode. Some patrol checkpoints overlap with city sightseeing spots and yield good launch-window screenshot opportunities.
