11Version 1.4, titled "For Whom the Verses Mourn", is the fourth major post-launch update for Neverness to Everness. The official channel dates the global launch to September 30, 2026 and names two new limited S-Class characters, Blackbird and Akane Rin. The version was previewed in a Preview Special Program on September 16, 2026 at 19:30 (UTC+8) on the official YouTube and Twitch channels, and a version PV followed on September 17. The Chinese server receives the same update on September 24, 2026, six days ahead of global, which is the gap every previous version has kept.22As of September 21, 2026 no English patch note has been published. The confirmed global facts are the title, the date and the two characters. Everything below the next heading comes from the Chinese-server recap of the preview broadcast, which is first-party but published only as images and only in Chinese, so English names are given where the game already uses them and left in Chinese otherwise.
