1-Shadow-n-Seek is a limited-time asymmetric PvP mode in Neverness to Everness. Each match randomly assigns players to one of two sides: Hiders, who disguise themselves as ordinary objects in the environment, and Hunters, who have a fixed time limit to find and catch every Hider. The mode ran from July 17, 2026 at 10:00 (UTC+8) until August 19, 2026 at 05:59 (UTC+8).1+Shadow-n-Seek is an asymmetric PvP hobby in Neverness to Everness. Its initial limited-time event ran from July 17, 2026 at 10:00 (UTC+8) until August 19, 2026 at 05:59 (UTC+8). Version 1.3 added it to Hethereau Hobbies on August 19, with City Stamina consumed each round.2233Match Format4455Sides are assigned at random at the start of each match, so a player can end up on either team from one round to the next. The two roles have completely different toolkits and win conditions.6677SideRoleKey AbilitiesHiderBlend into the environment and survive the timerGets a preparation window to explore the map and pick one of three items to disguise as. Landing a hit on a Hider triggers the catch. Because a mistaken swing costs the Hunter HP, the depleted-HP loss condition is reachable through Hider misdirection alone, without any Hider ever attacking.12121313Playing the Hider Side14141515The preparation window before Hunters are released is the most important part of a Hider run. Use it to learn the room layout and to pick a disguise that matches objects already common in that area, because a lone object of a type that appears nowhere else is easy to pick out. After transforming, the Hider has no offensive options at all, so survival depends on three things: choosing a believable resting spot, repositioning when a Hunter's scan sweeps the area, and planting decoys to pull attention away.16161717Because two surviving Hiders are enough to win on the timer, coordinated Hiders benefit from spreading out rather than clustering. A cluster that gets found loses several members to one scan.18181919Playing the Hunter Side20202121Hunters work against a hard clock and a self-damaging failure state. The scanning ability narrows the search, but the backlash penalty for hitting scenery means confirming a target before swinging is usually worth the extra second. Sweeping methodically through a room and forcing Hiders to reposition tends to be more reliable than chasing every suspicious object, since a Hider in motion is far easier to identify than one holding still.22222323Rewards24242525Participating earns the event currency Paper Cup Phone, which is spent at the Shadebound Shop.26262727RewardType"Gotcha!" avatar frameCosmetic profile itemAnnulithPremium currencyFloe Cinema TicketEvent itemFonsStandard currency2828Related Pages29293030PageDescriptionHethereau HobbiesHub for the game's side activities and mini-gamesFight ClubAnother limited-run combat modeUnderground CircuitRacing battle royale modeCurrenciesFull list of currencies and what each one buys
