The Phone Menu and Settings hold profile edits, phone decoration, camera controls and the world clock. The controls below describe the menu routes; current button prompts take priority if a binding has been changed.
Name, birthday and Appraiser form
Action | Menu route | Limit or condition |
|---|---|---|
Change name | Phone Menu ellipsis > Edit Profile > avatar ellipsis > Change Name | 72-hour cooldown after confirming a name. |
Set birthday | Phone Menu ellipsis > Edit Profile > avatar ellipsis > Edit Birthday | The chosen date is permanent after the confirmation. |
Switch Appraiser form | Settings > Other > Player Settings | Complete In the Reflection first; confirming returns to login and starts a 24-hour switch cooldown. |
Log in on the birthday set in the profile to receive the birthday mail. The listed gifts are Cake of Eibon, Refresh Recharge and De-noise Solution. Cake of Eibon is an Important Item rather than food to consume.
Phone and language
Use the Phone Menu ellipsis and select Phone Decoration to choose a wallpaper or phone case. Bagel offers customization items, including the 200-degree Bakery wallpaper and Bagelism case. For text and voice language, open Settings > Account Settings and select Language or Voice. The available voice choices include Chinese, English, Japanese and Korean.
Clock and weather
Open Time System from the pause menu. Move the time slider forward to the hour needed by a quest; it does not run backward. Weather options initially include Sunny, Rainy and Random. Changing weather advances the clock by thirty minutes. Complete A Retrograde Poem for You, starting with Daisy in Miguel District, to unlock Snowy weather.
Time and weather can be adjusted outside combat. Use quest dialogue and messages to identify the correct day and time window before advancing. The world clock is separate from the server reset clock used by daily and weekly rewards.
Perspective and photos
On PC, Z switches first-person perspective. On a PC controller, hold LB and press the right stick; on PS5, hold L1 and press R3. The option also appears under the Controls settings. First-person perspective works while exploring or driving and is disabled in combat.
Photo Mode opens from the Phone Menu camera icon or Quick Radial Menu after Prologue I. Normal, Selfie and Drone modes provide different framing. Camera controls include focal length, depth of field, grids, visibility, poses, expressions, owned-character group photos, lighting and filters. Save photos you want to keep; the in-game gallery lists a fifteen-day limit for unsaved images.
Convenient settings
Traffic density is under Settings > Other > Traffic. Lowering it can make driving practice less crowded. Graphics settings depend on the device and desired frame rate, so compare a change in the same busy scene before keeping it. During cutscenes, the upper-right Taygedo mute control leaves his subtitles available. Cutscenes with a Skip control ask for confirmation; scenes without it cannot be skipped through that button.
