Overview

The Miguel District is one of two new areas added to Hethereau during the Containment Test (July 2025), alongside the New Herland District. Together, these two districts expanded the explorable city to 1.5x its original size.

Geography

Miguel is positioned as a tourist-friendly area of Hethereau. The district features waterfront locations, lakeside views, and a more open, scenic layout compared to the dense urban areas elsewhere in the city. It offers a change of pace from the narrow streets of the Bridge District and the corporate towers of New Herland.

Notable landmarks

• Hethereau Skytower — A tall observation tower in the district, providing panoramic views of the city.

• Caltrop Lake — A lakeside area within the district. Fishing and other waterfront activities are available here.

Activities

The tourist-oriented design means Miguel has a concentration of side activities including shops, entertainment venues, and lakeside recreation. The district's relatively open spaces also make it a good area for vehicle exploration and racing.
