Comprehensive update based on official sources and research
Hotori is an elegant Esper who owns and operates the Eibon antique shop in Hethereau's Bridge District. She carries an air of mystery with hidden supernatural powers, positioning her as a key figure in the story of Neverness to Everness.
As the owner of Eibon, Hotori leads the group of Anomaly hunters who work out of the antique shop. The shop takes on Anomaly commissions from the public to stay afloat financially, serving as the base of operations for the player and other characters.
Beyond Anomaly hunting, Eibon genuinely deals in antiques. To find the perfect antique, one needs not only the sharp eye to spot treasures at a glance, but also the boldness to bargain, the decisiveness to push the price down, and the determination to stand firm on deals - essential qualities that Hotori embodies as a successful antique shop owner.
While Hotori appears human, her supernatural powers remain largely mysterious. Hints in trailers suggest she possesses significant Esper abilities that have yet to be fully revealed.
She received a redesign for the Closed Beta Test, though her combat gameplay and Ultimate ability haven't been publicly showcased yet. This secrecy has only added to the mystique surrounding her character.
Under Hotori's leadership, Eibon has assembled a diverse team including Nanally Coluccus (star attraction), Sakiri (with her Anomaly hammer), Edgar (helper), Daffodil (security), Adler (employee), and Taygedo (the gentle Oddity restorer).
Hotori is characterized by her elegance and mysterious demeanor. As the leader of Eibon, she commands respect from her team while maintaining an air of secrecy about her true capabilities.
