Overview
Tamamochi Street is a lively commercial street located in the Bridge Crossing district of Hethereau in Neverness to Everness. The street serves as a gathering point for residents and visitors alike, with its bustling atmosphere reflecting Bridge Crossing's identity as the historic, community-driven heart of the city. Tamamochi Street gained attention among players during the Co-Ex Test beta when the new A-Class character Aurelia was spotted strolling through the area as an NPC.
Location
Tamamochi Street sits within Bridge Crossing, one of the four known districts of Hethereau (alongside Miguel District, New Herland District, and Unheard Shores). Bridge Crossing is where two sea-spanning bridges converge, forming the Old Town area of the city. The district is known for being budget-friendly and laid-back compared to the corporate center of New Herland, with quirky shops and a strong sense of local identity.
Tamamochi Street and Hankaku Street are the two named streets within Bridge Crossing. While Hankaku Street is characterized by its traditional old shops and seasonal goods, Tamamochi Street leans toward a more general commercial atmosphere where people gather, socialize, and conduct daily business.
Aurelia Sighting
During the Co-Ex Test (February 6 to 20, 2026), players discovered Aurelia walking through Tamamochi Street as a non-playable character. At the time, the character was known by her beta-era name Mitsuki. Aurelia is an A-Class Esper and a former band member who was confirmed as a launch-day character in the post-beta roadmap. Her presence as an NPC on Tamamochi Street before becoming playable gave players an early look at the character's design and personality within the world.
The Aurelia sighting on Tamamochi Street is an example of how Neverness to Everness integrates future playable characters into the open world as NPCs before their official release. This approach lets players encounter characters organically in the city rather than discovering them solely through gacha banners or story chapters.
Bridge Crossing District
As part of Bridge Crossing, Tamamochi Street shares the district's overall character. Bridge Crossing is the home territory of the Coluccis Family, led by Nanally, and the location of the Eibon Antique Shop, which serves as the player's base of operations. The district's Old Town identity means its streets are filled with independent shops, local businesses, and the kind of eccentric characters that define Hethereau's supernatural urban setting.
Players exploring Tamamochi Street will find it surrounded by the other landmarks and features of Bridge Crossing. The street's proximity to Eibon and Hankaku Street makes it part of the core area that players traverse regularly during the early and mid-game, before expanding their exploration to the other districts.
Activities
Hethereau's streets are not just navigational corridors; they are packed with interactive content. While specific activities unique to Tamamochi Street have not been fully detailed for the launch version, the game's broader street-level design includes:
NPC Encounters: Characters like Aurelia can be found walking the streets, offering conversation or quest hooks.
Shop Browsing: Hethereau's streets feature mysterious shops in secluded alleys run by enigmatic owners.
Anomaly Events: Supernatural disturbances can manifest anywhere in the open world, including on named streets.
Social Interactions: Players can meet other players and companions, expanding their social network through Hethereau's "Bagel" friend system.
