11SpaceCraft is an online, actively developed Early Access game, so it receives regular updates. This page collects the post-launch patches, the addition of Solo Offline Mode, the ongoing balancing work, and the developer’s stated near-term priorities. For what Early Access means for the game overall, see Early Access.2233Post-Launch Patches445-Patching began within days of the June 11, 2026 Early Access launch and has continued at a steady pace. The table below summarises the numbered patches and major additions through late August 2026.5+Patching began within days of the June 11, 2026 Early Access launch and has continued at a steady pace. Workstations keep crafting after you leave, a crafting queue with automatic intermediates, a reworked Technology experience system, the Advanced Warehouse, 300 SU of shared Personal Station Storage, Solo Corporations, a Recruitment Board, Emblems, whispers, big production speed increases, footprint reductions, a laser patch stacking fix, Frame Generation, and a long list of bug fixes. Detailed below.Hotfix v0.4.24471September 16, 2026Fixed a bug that prevented players from deploying new buildings, and server issues.Hotfix v0.4.24525September 18, 2026Fixed an issue with the Company Warehouse and Local Intelligence Center that could soft-lock players.v0.4.24559September 18, 2026Fixed Pathway Portals that could not be deployed (existing Pathways may need turning off and on again), Technology XP that could not be claimed from multi-member Corporation bases, missing First Deployment XP when upgrading a Warehouse, and planets that could not be fully explored after looting a shipwreck.88Solo Offline Mode991010Two weeks after launch, on June 26, 2026, the developer added Solo Offline Mode, one of the most-requested features. It lets you play the whole game entirely offline as a separate experience from the shared online galaxies. You switch to it from the menu under Options, then Change Region, then Offline Mode. Because it is not a persistent online world, systems that depend on other players, such as the shared marketplace and Corporation rankings, are turned off, and its saves are kept separate from multiplayer progression. For the full detail on how it differs from the online galaxies, see Corporations and Co-Op.11111212Balancing and Quality of Life13131414The June 26 balancing patch was described as the first of several. Its focus was the later game, which some players found too grindy: it increased the default base Footprint, reduced the footprint cost of common structures, and lowered the Credit cost of several higher-tier Permits, alongside cheaper recipes for some ship-part components. These are ongoing adjustments, so exact costs and limits continue to change between updates. See Base Building and Progression: Permits and Experience for the systems these changes affect.15151616Developer Priorities171718-On July 3, 2026 the developer shared its near-term priorities. Balancing remains a top focus, especially for the late game, along with continued bug fixing, stabilisation, and performance optimisation. The team also outlined quality-of-life work in progress: a crafting overhaul, described as Crafting 2.0, that adds crafting queues and the ability to craft multiple items in a single action; improved ways for players to find a Corporation and for Corporations to recruit members; and clearer in-game help and tips. Heavier roadmap features are planned to follow once these are addressed.18+On July 3, 2026 the developer shared its near-term priorities. Heavier roadmap features are planned to follow once these are addressed. The crafting overhaul and the Corporation recruitment tools both shipped in Community Update #1 on September 16, 2026.191920-Announced but Not Yet Released20+Community Update #1 (September 16, 2026)212122-On August 21, 2026 the developer published a preview of work in progress on the Workshop and Smelter, a new storage building, and a set of quality-of-life changes. None of it has shipped yet. The newest build at the time of writing is still v0.3.23424 from three days earlier, so everything in this section describes what has been announced, not how the game currently behaves. Treat the specifics as subject to change until a patch note confirms them.22+The developer previewed this update in two posts, on August 21, 2026 (workstations, a new storage building and quality of life) and September 4, 2026 (Corporations), announced the date on September 11, and shipped it as Patch Notes v0.4.24444 on September 16, 2026. It is the first major update since the Early Access launch, and everything in both previews is now live. The sections below describe the shipped behaviour; where the patch note differs from a preview, the patch note wins.232324-IssueStatusNotesCrashes when DLSS is enabledFix on its wayTurning DLSS off avoids the crash until the fix lands.Shipyard tutorial will not confirm a Scanner installationInvestigatingPlacing the Scanner module and confirming does not apply the change, and no error is shown, which blocks tutorial progress.Stuck inside the spaceshipFix on its wayRestarting through Steam to pick up the latest build, then using the respawn option, clears it.Character or ship stuck, or falling through the groundFixedThe respawn option in the settings menu recovers a stuck character or ship.Solo Offline Mode server errorFixedSome players could not reach Offline Mode.25-The headline change is that the Workshop and Smelter would no longer require you to stand at the workstation until a progress bar fills. Production would continue after you walk away, and a queueing system would automatically produce the intermediate resources a recipe needs. Manual crafting would be capped at recipes taking under five minutes, with anything longer intended to run through base automation instead. The interface would list every resource a recipe requires and disable the craft button when one is missing.24+Workstations and Crafting262526+The headline change is that the Workshop and Smelter now continue crafting after you leave the workstation. A crafting queue lets you line up to ten minutes of crafts, and the queue automatically produces any intermediate resources a recipe needs. The preview had also described a five-minute cap on manual crafting, with longer jobs meant for base automation; the shipped patch note does not restate that cap, so treat it as design intent rather than a confirmed number. Workshop crafting now pulls items directly from Advanced Warehouses, and Encyclopedia entries list every recipe an item is used in.27+2728The developer also set out three intended scales of production, framed around the fact that a persistent world keeps evolving while a player is offline.28292930ScaleNameWhat it coversScale 1Active craftingSmall batches produced manually in limited quantities.Scale 2Prepared CraftingSpecific batches queued before heading out on an expedition such as mining, exploration or hauling.Scale 3Idle CraftingBackground production that runs continuously at your base while you are away or offline.30-Alongside that, automated crafting times would come down and manual crafting times would go up slightly. The stated reason is that manual crafting had become more efficient than automation even for recipes meant to benefit from it, which undercut the value of building a production line at all.31+The retuning shipped as flat multipliers rather than a vague adjustment. The stated reason is that manual crafting had become more efficient than automation even for recipes meant to benefit from it, which undercut the value of building a production line at all.313233+FacilityChangeAssemblers and FactoriesSix times fasterRecyclersThree times faster, and now unlocked at Tech Level 2SmeltersTwice as fastMicro FurnacesOne and a half times faster, with ten times the storage capacityWorkshop (manual crafting)One and a half times slower3234Technology Experience333534-Technology experience would move away from a per-base capacity cap. Under the announced system, individual items carry production milestones: produce a set number of a resource to reach a milestone and earn Technology experience, with higher milestones worth more. Once an item’s milestones are complete you would need to diversify into other production lines to keep earning. The developer says the current cap pushed players into dismantling and rebuilding bases to restore a higher gain rate, which was never the intent.36+Technology experience no longer runs against a per-base capacity cap. Bases now track the production of specific items in Smelters and Assemblers and grant Technology experience once enough of an item has been claimed, with higher milestones worth more; when an item has no milestones left you diversify into other production lines to keep earning. The developer said the old cap pushed players into dismantling and rebuilding bases to restore a higher gain rate, which was never the intent. The same update raised the first-deployment award for a Battery Array from 3 to 15 experience and for the Bottling Plant and the Laboratory from 3 to 9 each, and Social experience is now shared out in proportion to each member's actual participation. The September 18 follow-up fixed Technology experience that could not be claimed from multi-member Corporation bases and first-deployment experience that was not awarded when upgrading a Warehouse.35373638Advanced Warehouse and Personal Storage373938-A new Advanced Warehouse would sit at Technology Tier 3, built from 40 Stainless Plate, 12 Structural Beam, 40 Concrete and 3 Microchip. Compared with the Basic Warehouse it would offer more of almost everything.40+The Advanced Warehouse unlocks at Tech Level 3. The preview priced it at 40 Stainless Plate, 12 Structural Beam, 40 Concrete and 3 Microchip; the patch note does not restate the recipe, so check the build menu for the current cost. Compared with the Basic Warehouse it offers more of almost everything, and an existing Warehouse can be upgraded into one in place without dismantling it.394140-PropertyBasic WarehouseAdvanced WarehouseDrone routes512Storage capacity2,0005,000FootprintReduced from 3 to 23Workshop connectionNot describedDirect, so workshops pull what they need automaticallyResource limitsNot describedCustom per-resource limits, so a warehouse can be specialised42+PropertyBasic WarehouseAdvanced WarehouseRoute drones512Storage capacity2,000 SU5,000 SUFootprint2 (reduced from 3)3 (the preview figure; not restated in the patch note)Workshop connectionNot describedDirect: Workshop crafting pulls what it needs from the warehouse automaticallyPer-item limitsNot describedSet a maximum storage limit per item, so a warehouse can be specialisedStorage interfaceAdd All and Add All Existing buttonsAdd All and Add All Existing buttons41-A Personal Storage would also be added, letting you deposit loot at any station and reach it from every other station, and the Micro Furnace would get more storage capacity so it stays useful for longer before larger production buildings unlock.43+Personal Station Storage was added in the same update: 300 SU of storage that is shared across every station, so loot deposited at one station can be collected at any other. The Micro Furnace gained ten times its previous storage capacity so it stays useful for longer before larger production buildings unlock. Every container in the game is compared on Storage and Warehouses.424445+Corporations and Social46+47+The September 4 preview covered the Corporation side of the update, and all of it shipped. The Corporation interface opens with P by default.48+49+FeatureWhat it doesSolo CorporationsA one-person Corporation with a simplified interface and its own ranking, separate from multi-member Corporations. A Solo Corporation can be converted into a multi-member one, but not back.Recruitment BoardCorporation leaders publish a Header Card describing their Corporation; applicants browse and compare Corporations (member list, ship levels, description, emblem) before applying. Players already in a Corporation can receive invitations and apply elsewhere.EmblemsCustom emblems for Corporation identity.InspectionInspect Corporations and players directly from the ranking or the Recruitment Board.Whisper and ignorePrivate one-to-one messages, which require both players to be in the same quadrant, and the ability to ignore other players.Corporation LogsCredit transfers now appear in the logs.MapMembers of your Corporation are shown on the map as their bases.RenamingRenaming a Corporation costs more the higher its level.50+Two Corporation exploits were closed. Corporation base and ship permits could be refunded without consequence; now bases over the limit are disabled and ships cannot be boarded until the permits are bought again. Sell orders no longer stay active indefinitely: they expire after 14 days, or when a player leaves their Corporation, switches quadrant, or resets their account. See Corporations and Co-Op.51+52+Laser Patch Stacking53+54+The developer announced on September 11 that bonuses from patches installed across multiple mining lasers had been stacking far beyond their intended values, and framed the correction as a bug fix rather than a nerf. Since the update, Increased Output, Rare Find and Last Yield patches still stack, but with diminishing returns: each additional patch is 30 percent less effective than the previous one. Last Yield changed from triggering automatically to a 30 percent trigger chance per patch, with stacking raising the chance. There is still no limit on the number of lasers a ship can carry. The Mining Power diminishing returns in the Laser Mining skill were also corrected. See Mining and Resources.55+56+Other Changes57+58+AreaChangeFootprintWarehouse footprint reduced from 3 to 2, Factory from 10 to 7, and the Drone Dispatcher no longer costs any footprint.EnergyThe Base Command Center now includes 5,000 MA of energy storage. Battery Arrays display detailed operational information. A bug that stopped players setting a Power Transmitter target without relogging was fixed, as was the display of reduced processing times under low power.LiquidsCisterns support liquid filters. Medium Tanks are unlocked through the Liquid Logistics permit.BaseShips can be landed manually on the Landing Pad. Pathway Stands become untargetable under low power instead of switching off. A take-all key (R) was added to instance containers.Graphics and interfaceFrame Generation is available in the Quality settings. Several interface problems at the Steam Deck resolution of 1280 by 800 were fixed. The level design and art of every existing instance were updated. The Company Exchanger moved into the patch installation kiosk.EconomyPlayer storage capacity is now capped to prevent infinite item storage. Sales and sell orders can no longer exceed the credit cap, and the credit limit can no longer go negative.FixesSeeds now display correctly in planet resource lists; underwater Corpo Training Centers, other players' trail colours, base foundations that failed to load, Battery Cells disappearing in instances, players shown as Level 0 after a quadrant transfer, docking requests from too far away (now capped at 1 np), door animations, missing colliders, LOD problems and several crashes were all fixed.59+Two hotfixes followed on September 16 and 18 (buildings that could not be deployed, server issues, and a soft-lock involving the Company Warehouse and Local Intelligence Center), and Patch Notes v0.4.24559 on September 18 fixed Pathway Portals, two experience awards and planet exploration after looting a shipwreck; all four are in the table above.60+61+Announced for the Next Community Update62+63+The same September 16 post outlined what the developer is working on next, with no date attached and nothing shipped yet. The next update is described as focused on the visual side of the game: planets are to get more vegetation and better cloud rendering, and building colour customisation is to be added to help manage a growing base. Alongside those, new Instances are planned that take players into abandoned stations to search for specific items and earn rewards, and a nomadic merchant willing to buy almost anything, with tough negotiations unless you have exactly what they want. Treat all of this as announced, not as current behaviour, until a patch note confirms it.64+4365Tracked Known Issues446645-The developer keeps a public hub listing the issues that affect a meaningful number of players, along with the current status of each and any workaround. Version v0.3.22769 has no patch note of its own and is known only from a later hotfix, which credits it with a fix for players who could not connect to certain servers. Expect small gaps like this between the numbered notes.51735274Early Access Cadence53755476Because SpaceCraft is online and still in active development, this cadence of fixes and additions is expected to continue, and the developer maintains a public known-issues list that tracks the status of reported problems.
