11Enhanced Senses is Logan's tracking ability in Marvel's Wolverine, and it is built as a passive layer rather than a mode you switch on. Creative director Marcus Smith has said the team built all the different incarnations of it before settling on something driven by camera movement and by what you are looking at.2233What it shows4455CueWhat it revealsVisual wavelengthsAmbient cues layered over the world rather than a separate vision modeEnemy silhouettesEnemies picked out as ethereal blue skeletonsHeartbeatsEnemy heartbeats audible through walls. The sense marks the opportunities; the player decides whether to take them. Mike Daly has described the whisky bottles specifically as smells that trigger lost memories Logan simply could not recall until he had that smell in hand again. A separate Navigation Assist can show a direction trail toward the nearest enemy or objective, and a Collectible and Interact Tracker shortcut switches that trail from objectives to collectibles within range.
