Official copy describes him as an anti-mutant billionaire industrialist driven by a fanatical belief in human superiority, and the campaign is built around the mutants he is having abducted. Trask Industries is the corporate name that appears on screen for his operation.

1010 The Inhibitors are the clearest example of Trask's hardware changing how the game plays. They block Logan and his teammates from using their abilities, which strips Logan of the healing factor that normally keeps him upright. Insomniac's framing is that he has to work past the pain and fight without healing, destroying the Inhibitors before it is too late. A later sequence involves an aircraft coming down near a Trask Industries facility, and the fake town built for one of his experiments is a previewed stealth area.
