The Lumen are the order at the center of life in Talea. They catch, train, and battle Animon, and they serve as the land's dedicated protectors. As Trey sets out on his journey, he is drawn into their world.
A Lumen is someone who catches, trains, and battles Animon, using the Holoken as their essential tool. The order traces back to an empire military faction that became Talea's protectors. In the present, the Lumen are organized into squadrons stationed across the regions of Logos and Mythos.
The Lumen operate in squadrons, each tied to a place or a leader. Confirmed examples include:

The Lumen rely on devices and infrastructure to do their work, from the Holoken for catching to the Anispace for housing creatures. Researchers such as Kapan and organizations led by figures like Blanco support that infrastructure.
