11Overview2233At the end of the Out of Ideas main quest, you are asked which part of Talea you would like to explore first: Logos (North) or Mythos (South). Blanco is the one who informs you of the differences between the two factions, but the choice is formally made once Julia asks. Once you decide, the next main story quest directs you toward the region you picked. This is one of the major story Choices in LumenTale.4455North or South Choice Outcomes6677ChoiceResultLogos, to the northYou get access to Logos first. It does not lock you out of the other side, so it comes down to preference and which element types you want to encounter early.11111212RegionBiomesAnimon Types Encountered FirstLogos (North)More technological cities and the snow biomeElectric Type, Ice Type, and Data Type AnimonMythos (South)More forest and swamp areasGeo Type, Grass Type, and Virus Type Animon1313You Can Still Visit the Other Region's First City14141515Whichever region you choose, you can still travel up to the first city of the opposite region. The catch is that the world map for that side stays fogged, and you will not be able to sign up for the Lumen Squadron battle in that first city of the route you did not pick.16161717Being unable to battle the Lumen Squadron prevents you from going deeper down that side of the map, because you need the respective Holoken Power to pass through certain roadblocks.18181919Route Order and Evolution Emblems20202121Each route also awards a starter evolution emblem. Clearing the Voltar Squadron match in The City of Entertainment on the north route awards the Septemblem, while finishing City of the Sun in Altipetra on the south route awards the Meridemblem. Each emblem evolves a stage-two starter Animon into that route's final form at Level 40, and both are reusable, so your route choice only changes which final forms you can reach first.22222323Should You Go North or South?24242525The decision is up to player preference. Pick Logos (North) if you want to encounter more Electric, Ice, and Data Animon first. Pick Mythos (South) if you prefer Geo, Grass, and Virus Animon. You will reach the other region either way, so neither choice closes off content.
