How to Break Rocks
June 5, 2026 at 12:39 PM
Explains breaking rocks by aiming the Holoken with a Geo Animon, where rocks and Anivite Crystals spawn, and what crystals drop including Anivite EX later.
Rocks appear all over the world in LumenTale: Memories of Trey, both as boulders that block your path and as Anivite Crystals that hold crafting materials. To break them you need a Geo Animon active while using the Holoken. Keeping a Geo Animon in your party at all times also helps you avoid being pinned by wild Animon.
Aim toward the rock that needs to be destroyed.
If wild Animon are chasing you, dash while aiming the Holoken to stay clear.
Always keep a Geo Animon in your party, as not having one can leave you pinned by wild Animon while you try to break rocks.
Rocks are present throughout the map, from big boulders blocking the way forward to Anivite Crystals that contain useful crafting materials.
Caves, such as those in Scarlet Woods and Area 01, hold many Anivite Crystals, making them a great source of resources like Anivite and gemstones. Use a Repel when going through caves, since many wild Animon can chase you while you break crystals.
Anivite Crystals drop Anivite, with chances of dropping gemstones such as Ruby and Sapphire. Rarer materials such as Anivite EX require you to progress further in the game, as they are not available in earlier areas.
