Beyond their elemental type, every Animon has an emotional attribute. There are five attributes, each tied to a feeling, and they play into battle alongside types. This emotional layer is part of what gives LumenTale: Memories of Trey its heartfelt tone.
Attribute | Emotion | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Felicis | Joy | Cheerful and encouraging emotions, typically shown in green. |
Mestus | Sadness | Sorrow and grief, typically shown in blue. |
Furor | Anger | Anger and fervor, typically shown in red. |
Horrens | Fear | Feeling and inflicting fear, along with curiosity, typically shown in purple. |
Sereum | Calm | A grounded, composed temperament. |
Attributes work alongside elemental types to shape how an Animon performs. Because each creature combines a type and an attribute, two Animon of the same type can still feel different in a fight. Reading both halves of a matchup is part of mastering the Combat System.
The five starter Animon each represent a different attribute, which is a clean way to learn the system:
Starter | Attribute | Type |
|---|---|---|
Felicis | Virus | |
Mestus | Aura | |
Furor | Electric | |
Horrens | Demon | |
Sereum | Geo |
