Longya
October 19, 2026 at 05:26 PM
Added the October 15, 2026 fix to his Co-Flow combat challenge and made the 天下如棋 event window tense-neutral
S1 "World Beginning" went live on May 29, 2026. The following details are now confirmed in the live build:
Role: official live coverage lists Longya as a warrior-support (战士辅助) Resonance. Chinese coverage describes the playstyle as an aggressive frontline support, the 暴力辅助 (fierce support) archetype, fighting at the front to create space for the team.
Weapon and lore: a hammer-wielding blacksmith from the 铸云庐 forging sect attached to Jixia Academy.
Availability: launched on the S1-opening banner alongside Sun Shangxiang on May 29, 2026.
Longya (龙牙) is a Resonance that arrived in the S1 World Beginning Season of Honor of Kings: World, which launched on May 29, 2026 alongside Sun Shangxiang. Longya is a hammer-wielding blacksmith from the 铸云庐 forging sect inside Jixia Academy, entering the playable roster as the first dedicated hammer Resonance after the protagonist's four-weapon cycle.
Arrival window: first half of S1 (May 29, 2026)
Class identity: Scorching Flow (灼流) Support, framed in CN coverage as 淬焰锻匠暴力辅助 (fierce-flame forging support)
Weapon: hammer (锤)
Lore anchor: blacksmith of the 铸云庐 forging sect, attached to Jixia Academy
Acquisition: launched on the S1 Heavenly Reward Banner alongside Sun Shangxiang
Pre-show profiles place Longya squarely in the Support role, but with what CN coverage repeatedly calls an aggressive playstyle, hence the 暴力辅助 label. Rather than a back-line healer, he is positioned as a frontline support whose hammer slams generate pressure relief for his ally while still doing meaningful damage. The 铸云庐 forging sect framing ties him narratively to Jixia Academy's lore: the sect supplies the academy's weapons and armor, including those used by the protagonist Child of the Primal Flow.
Longya channels Scorching Flow (灼流), the new Flow archetype debuting in S1. The Support framing implies kit elements oriented around enemy pressure rather than direct healing, which fits a forging-sect identity: in CN previews his work is described in terms of forging strikes that bleed momentum from opponents while letting an Offensive partner press a window. The dual-Flow loadout system means a Longya player will typically pair him with a Strong Attack partner such as Sun Shangxiang or the S0 burst Resonances like Jialuo or Dongfang Yao.
Longya arrived on the S1-opening banner alongside Sun Shangxiang on May 29, 2026. The first Resonance tied to the Battle Pass came later, Fei Han on July 23, 2026. See Monetization for how the banners and shop currencies work.

Official patch notes after the season launch name parts of Longya's live kit. His ultimate is Crimson Myriad (绝技 猩红万钧), which grants a shield, and his core forging skill chain is Forge Hundred Hammers (洪炉百锻) and its derived strikes, fed by a Co-Flow charge gauge (共流技). The kit fits his frontline forging-support identity: shielding and pressure rather than back-line healing. As with the other Resonances, these are dual-Flow action mechanics specific to this game, not a MOBA ability set. Full skill values, the charge timings, and Talent options are still being documented by Chinese guide sites.
The official Resonance database lists five ability entries for Longya. Names are given in Chinese as published; the effects are summarised from the database text. Several moves count as ground-slam attacks, which is what links his basic string to the enhanced follow-ups of 洪炉百锻.
Ability | Effect in the official Resonance database |
|---|---|
普通攻击 (basic attack) | Three hammer swings, the last of which is a ground-slam attack. The charged basic attack is a ground slam. Perfect-dodge counter: after a perfect dodge he can cast an enhanced basic attack, also a ground slam, that can counter an enemy's red-light skill |
炉火开山 | Dashes forward to deal damage. After casting it he can chain straight into the last segment of the basic attack |
洪炉百锻 | A short charge followed by a ground-slam strike. Cast shortly after another ground slam lands, it releases different enhanced moves; cast after the Co-Flow skill's ground slam lands, it releases Co-Flow enhanced moves. All of these count as ground slams. 聚火复锻: while an enhanced move is airborne, cancelling with an air dodge and then pressing jump and basic attack releases a powerful slam |
焚炉摧山 | Costs 100 Heat. Damages enemies in a wide area in front of him, applies 破甲 (lowered defence) and 熔铸 (each hit taken sets off a 熔铸 explosion), and gives him 铸魂护芯. While 铸魂护芯 is active, each 熔铸 explosion adds one stack of 炉芯 energy; at 24 stacks the 淬焰锻匠 Co-Flow skill activates. The first hit can counter an enemy's red-light skill |
猩红万钧 | Deals damage and shields himself and his allies. Can counter an enemy's red-light skill |
His compendium biography describes him as a Jixia Academy student and heir to the 铸云庐 master smith: young-looking but a first-rate weaponsmith with sharp insight, hot-tempered and prone to saying the opposite of what he means, yet serious and overwhelming in battle, where he brings his blazing mechanical hammer down on anyone in his way.
The July 9, 2026 S1 second-half patch buffed Longya's damage to strengthen his solo-combat capability while keeping his team-support role. Exact numeric values were not published.
Longya's role, weapon form, lore and ability list are confirmed for the live build (see Official Ability List above). Base stats, numeric skill values and Talent options are not published in the official database.
After Fei Han arrived on July 23, 2026, launch-week guides settled on Longya as one of her strongest supports: his long-duration buffs need little tending, which suits her self-contained damage loop, and his armor-break passive adds critical-strike rate the pairing otherwise lacks. His own Resonance quest is slated for a later season, a contrast drawn in launch coverage when Fei Han's quest opened on her release day.
The 天下如棋 event, a card-based academy management game running from September 24, 2026 10:00 to October 28, 2026 23:59 China time, awards a Longya weapon skin named 钩斫 among its rewards. See Content Roadmap for the full event entry.
The October 15, 2026 no-downtime update fixed a counting error in Longya's combat challenge for casting Co-Flow skills 30 times. The tally could occasionally go wrong and leave the challenge impossible to finish.
