The China National Geographic collaboration is a crossover that opened in Honor of Kings: World on July 23, 2026. TiMi Studio Group announced it in the July 20, 2026 version preview alongside the release of a new Resonance and a new co-op challenge.

The side questline is framed as a natural-history record of Jixia Academy and its surrounding regions, matching the partner's editorial subject matter. It is a side track rather than part of the Main Story and Quests progression.
A photography activity ships with the questline. The developer preview did not publish the number of subjects, the reward table, or whether the photo activity feeds an existing collection track, so none of that is stated here.
The event launched on July 23, 2026 under the name 稷下热门生物鉴定 (Jixia Trending Creature Identification). It was co-created with China National Geographic and its science communicator Wuqiong Xiaoliang (无穷小亮), known for debunking viral creature sightings. In-game, the naturalist Chen Zang (辰藏) arrives in Jixia with a Tibetan-fox hut; players join him to investigate a rumored water monkey (水猴子) sighting and help complete his field record, the Jixia Natural History (稷下博物志).
Players photograph and catalogue 24 wild creatures for the record using the photo mode. Rewards include the exclusive pet Li Hu (黎胡), a Tibetan-fox headpiece, a backpack, an avatar frame, a name card, an avatar, and furniture pieces for the home.
A co-created video accompanied the launch, and the questline doubles as a tour of photogenic spots across the Jixia map.
