11Y'shtola is a legacy Vision in Final Fantasy Resonance and the series representative for FINAL FANTASY XIV. Her official bio for this game describes a Miqo'te encountered in the lands of La Noscea, proficient in magic: she can stagger enemies with fire and ice spells or restore HP, and she becomes stronger as she uses a greater variety of magic in combat.223344Combat Profile5566Y'shtola splits her work between offense and recovery. Her fire and ice spells are framed as stagger tools, chipping at the Stagger Gauge that sits under every enemy's HP bar, while her HP restoration keeps the party standing. How staggered enemies hand out bonus-phase actions is covered at Stagger System.7788Her scaling hook is unique among the named Visions: she grows stronger as her wearer casts a greater variety of magic in combat. The wider ability system lets one character equip magic learned from several Visions at once, within a cost limit, which is covered at Abilities and Mastery.991010Affinity grows as she fights alongside the party, unlocking more of her abilities for the wearer over time. Like every Vision, her abilities were designed from zero for this game, so her kit here stands apart from her FINAL FANTASY XIV incarnation; the developers said the creators of the numbered titles reviewed and approved how their characters are handled here.11111212How to Obtain13131414Her Vision is unlocked at a vision crystal sanctum, one of the shrines scattered across the world where you revisit stories from the original games. Square Enix put that route in writing for her specifically in a dedicated English-language Vision video on August 27, 2026, which invites players to battle alongside Y'shtola, resonate with her Vision within the Sanctum of Light, and unleash her abilities in combat. Every Vision is earnable in-game; the producer said there is no DLC for them.15151616The first time you call her into battle, the game plays a short movie explaining her original game, giving newcomers the context behind the character.17171818Magicite found on the journey awakens her Vision through three stages, each stage requiring a higher grade of magicite and each unlocking stronger abilities and higher-level skills and magic, as covered at Vision Awakening.19192020Resonance212122-Each Vision powers a unique Resonance attack at the end of the bonus phase after a sweeping stagger, limited to one use per sweeping stagger, each with its own cinematic; legacy heroes' sequences render in full 3D. As of 12 September 2026, Y'shtola's specific Resonance has not been individually detailed.
