Warrior of Light

Initial version (2026-06-10)
Warrior of Light is one of the legacy Visions in Final Fantasy Resonance, the armored knight who served as the protagonist of the original FINAL FANTASY. His official bio for this game describes a warrior of light chosen by the crystal, who embarks on a journey to save the world. He wields earth-, lightning-, and light-element attacks and learns abilities that protect allies.
Equipping the Warrior of Light Vision raises a party member's stats and grants his skills and magic. His attack kit spans three elements, earth, lightning, and light, while his ability list leans toward protecting allies, so the Vision pairs steady offense with cover for the rest of the party.
Element coverage feeds the stagger game. Every hit shaves an enemy's Stagger Gauge, and hits against an elemental weakness shave it faster, so three attack elements give his wearer more chances to strike a weakness; the full loop is covered at Stagger System. Abilities learned from him stay equippable after switching to another Vision, as long as they fit the cost limit explained at Abilities and Mastery.
As with every Vision, the developers designed his abilities from zero for this game rather than carrying anything over from the original FINAL FANTASY. His stats, equipment, and story from that game do not apply here; this page lists only what official Resonance materials state.
Visions of legacy heroes are unlocked at vision crystal sanctums, shrines scattered across the world. Stepping into a sanctum lets you revisit stories from the FINAL FANTASY series and claim the Vision waiting inside. Every Vision is earnable in-game; the producer said there is no DLC for them.
The first time you call the Warrior of Light into battle, the game plays a short movie explaining his original game, so players who never touched the series' first entry get the context behind the character.
Each Vision powers a unique Resonance attack, unleashed at the end of the bonus phase once every enemy on the field has been staggered, and only one can be used per sweeping stagger. Legacy heroes' Resonance cinematics render in full 3D. The Warrior of Light's specific Resonance has not been individually detailed yet.
