Story-side Visions come from character events, side quests, and bonds. Every Vision is earnable in-game, with no DLC. Vision Awakening spends magicite to deepen a Vision you already hold, granting stronger abilities along with higher-level skills and magic across three stages, each stage demanding higher-grade magicite. Limit Bursts belong to the party members rather than to the Visions: a character fills a limit gauge by staggering an enemy or by taking damage, then spends it on a powerful attack or on a boon that helps for the rest of the fight. Neither one replaces a Resonance attack, which still requires every enemy on the field to be staggered in the same turn.
