Sephiroth

Added the Meteor summoning shown in the new trailer and the parallel threat from the Weapons
Sephiroth is the nemesis of Final Fantasy VII Revelation and the central antagonist of the Remake series. As the finale begins he is described as nearing godhood, and stopping him is the party’s ultimate goal.
His looming threat drives the story, as Cloud Strife and the party take to the skies to confront him before Meteor destroys the planet.
Revelation is built toward a decisive battle with Sephiroth that will determine the planet’s fate. Official material keeps the specifics of that confrontation, including where it takes place, under wraps, emphasizing only the scale of the threat as he nears godhood.
Footage released on August 25, 2026 shows Sephiroth calling down Meteor, the act that sets the countdown running for the rest of the story. Official material is explicit that the party cannot deal with him in isolation: as the planet answers the crisis by rousing its enormous guardians, Cloud Strife and his companions have to stand against those colossal Weapons even as they work to save the world from Sephiroth. The two threats run at the same time rather than one after the other.
For the English release, Sephiroth has been recast for Revelation: Travis Willingham takes over the role, replacing Tyler Hoechlin, who voiced the character in the previous two entries but could not return because of scheduling conflicts.
