Added the town's founding legend from the in-fiction history of Albion
11Overview2233Bloodstone is a port town in Albion that returns in Fable (2027). The location is recognisable by name from prior Fable games. Playground Games confirmed the location's inclusion ahead of the Xbox Developer Direct in January 2026 through concept art that was leaked online, then confirmed officially during the showcase.445+The game's in-fiction history of Albion gives Bloodstone a founding legend of its own. Its second extract, published on September 21, 2026, says the Hero of Blood founded the city in the north of Albion, on Bloodland Bay, as the northern counterpart to Bowerstone. It lists Bloodstone Castle among the great works of magical engineering raised by the Old Heroes, and says the two cities fell out immediately, fighting three Blood and Bower Wars in a rivalry that continues to this day. Whether that rivalry plays any part in the game's Bloodstone has not been stated. See The History of Albion for the full account.6+57Factions6879810Two gangs are vying for power in Bloodstone. The factional conflict is a core part of the town's identity, affecting its NPCs, quests, and the player's experience. How the hero interacts with these factions may be influenced by the game's morality system, where reputation is local and subjective. Siding with one gang over the other could change how Bloodstone's residents perceive the hero.9111012The specific names and ideologies of the two gangs have not been fully detailed, but concept art and developer descriptions make clear that neither faction represents straightforward good or evil. Bloodstone is a place where moral lines are blurred by necessity.11131214The Feuding Heirs: Jenny and Jacob13151416The Xbox Games Showcase on June 7, 2026 gave Bloodstone’s power struggle two faces. Jenny, voiced by Natasia Demetriou, and her brother Jacob, voiced by Nathan Foad, are rival heirs to the town. Jenny is brutal, crude, and shameless, embodying Bloodstone’s proud and dangerous nature. Jacob is a refined strategist who wants to remake the lawless port into a cosmopolitan center. Their sibling feud frames the conflict over who controls Bloodstone and gives the town’s factional tension a personal, dynastic edge that the player can be drawn into.15171618How Jenny and Jacob map onto the two warring gangs described below, and whether the player can back one heir over the other, fits the local and subjective morality system, though the exact branching has not been detailed. Both characters appear on the Characters hub.17191820The Cult of Shadows Claim192120222123A Cult of Shadows is often attached to Bloodstone in community write-ups, but Playground Games has never named the Cult in any material for this game, and no primary source places it in the town. Treat it as unconfirmed rather than as a third faction alongside the two gangs. See Cult of Shadows for what has and has not been said.22242325Key Locations242625272628Concept art and showcase footage have shown these areas of the town. The leaked images showed the town's layout and design, including its market district, arena, and the general atmosphere of a rough-and-ready port settlement. The concept art depicted Bloodstone as a dense, vertical town built along a waterfront, with ramshackle buildings and a lived-in quality that suggests years of unregulated growth.32343335Additional leaked concept art showed sewers beneath the town and a swamp town area depicted both before and after a flood event. Whether the flood is a scripted story event or a dynamic world change is unknown.34363537Property and Economy36383739Playground Games has said that property can be bought across Albion and that being a landlord is one of the ways to get rich, but it has not said which buildings in Bloodstone can be owned, or whether owning property in a lawless port reads differently to the town than owning a shop in Bowerstone. See Property and Economy for the system itself.
