Her Tragic Fate
Ariella's long vigil is bound up with a tragic fate. The official framing describes the player becoming entangled in that fate as the story unfolds. Rather than a simple ally or quest-giver, she is a figure whose own story carries weight and sorrow, and whose circumstances draw Fenrix deeper into the central conflict.
The Sanctuary and Its Keepers
Ariella's solitude is softened a little by the companions around her in the Sanctuary of Oblivion. She created a pair of golem siblings, Keke and Pea, who keep the place running; Keke is the responsible caretaker who also tends the workshop forge, while Pea is her chaotic younger sibling. A small magical creature named Lumi also keeps her company, and the angels Kaliel and Haniel are present here as well, giving the refuge their voices between Fenrix's runs. These figures add a thread of warmth to a world otherwise defined by the long, lonely vigil over the seal.
Relationship to Fenrix
Fenrix becomes entangled in Ariella's tragic fate over the course of the game. Their stories converge around the seal and the looming threat of Asmodeus's resurrection, making Ariella one of the most important characters in the narrative.
