11 Eline is the protagonist and the only playable character in Edge of Memories. Official material describes her as "an itinerant Soul Whisperer" who travels the continent of Avaris as it falls to The Corrosion. After a mysterious encounter, a dark power wakes inside her and gives her the ability to control the Corrosion within her own body.

The reveal press release says she uses her abilities to heal the tormented inhabitants of a land under threat. The store copy adds that she battles the force turning fauna, flora and humans into "grotesque abominations".

A May 2025 developer post said she has fragmented memories of her past, and while the June 2026 demo was available a developer explained that she "has traded parts of her memory for powers", adding that she is not a full amnesiac. 2424 Eline's Journey is both Eline's theme and the main theme of the plains. It was composed by Cédric Menendez, with lead vocals by Emi Evans, backing vocals by Marion Schneider and lyrics by Richard Evans.
