The IGNISPHERE teaser (Japanese title 「イグニスフィア」ティザーPV) is the trailer that accompanied the announcement of DAWNGAZER on September 25, 2026. Good Smile Company published it on its official video channel at 12:00 Japan time. It runs 1 minute 41 seconds.
Officially it is a teaser for the world of IGNISPHERE rather than a gameplay trailer. Its description presents it as an introduction to the large original world of many nations and races, and the video includes a title card that reads "DAWNGAZER" above the words "Now in Development".
The footage is set in a fantasy town. Speaking about the teaser in his reveal interview, director Takafumi Noma said more than 20 characters appear in it, and that almost all of them can be thought of as characters who can join the party. Interviewers noted a character who looks like a protagonist and characters who appear to be royalty; the game's premise involves a tragedy that strikes a royal family (see Story Premise).
Noma pointed out several characters and details in the footage:
Character or detail | What Noma said |
|---|---|
Black cat maid-like character | Looks like a claw fighter, but fights with the whip worn at the waist |
Red-haired character | A nun (a religious sister) with a healing role |
Snake beastfolk | The first one you pass is a cobra, a design Noma said he likes |
Shiba Inu | The idea came up while staff were making a blue oni-like, samurai-style character, and the dog ended up as a pet; staff added a bowing motion for it |
Fish-headed character | Comes from a nation of sea creatures |
Shrimp martial artist | A fighter whose body changed color from training too hard |
Brown harpy | From a nation of harpies |
He encouraged viewers to look closely at the designs, since many characters carry visible weapons. No character names were given at the reveal, and as of October 2026 none have been published.
Noma was open about the work being at an early stage. He said some parts were still being done in a rush and that the harpy's hair moved too much and still needed adjusting. Speaking about the game more broadly, he said battle scenes needed more polish and the animation was still mid-way, but that the visual image of the world had largely come together. The Shiba Inu also has playful jumping and play-bow motions that did not make it into this teaser.
The teaser song was composed and arranged by Yoshimi Kudo (工藤吉三), who is also producing the music used in the game. KOCHO handled vocals and singer coordination.
