Where to Turn in Bounties
March 24, 2026 at 04:12 AM
Initial version covering bounty turn-in mechanics
Bounty hunting is a rewarding side activity in Crimson Desert. After apprehending an outlaw, you need to deliver them to the correct constabulary to claim your reward.
Bounty notices are posted on bulletin boards and posts in towns, smaller settlements, and roadsides. They appear on the minimap as a purple letter icon. Interact with a poster to accept the bounty and learn the outlaw's last known location.
You turn in captured outlaws at the constabulary in the region that issued the bounty. The bounty notice itself specifies which constabulary to visit. For most bounties picked up in or around Hernand, the jail is located in the northern part of Hernand City.
Note that the outlaw's location does not always match the issuing region. You might find a target hiding far outside the city, but you still bring them back to the constabulary listed on the poster.
Silver: You earn the silver amount written on the bounty notice.
Contribution: Turning in bounties also boosts your contribution for the issuing region.
Half reward for kills: If the target dies before delivery (from your damage or other causes), you only receive half the posted silver reward.
Carry outlaws carefully. Dropping them or dealing too much damage can kill them, halving your reward.
Check every bulletin board you pass. New bounties appear as you progress through the story.
Alive captures are always more profitable than kills, so subdue rather than slash when possible.
