Overview

Vilkom Outpost is a northern Hernand military outpost in Crimson Desert. It serves as both a defensive post and a training ground near the road toward the Hills of No Return.

The outpost is more than a map label. It is tied to outpost liberation, the Torn Encirclement faction quest, and the Bounty Notice - Haldin bounty, which becomes available only after the area is liberated.

Location Details

Liberation

Vilkom Outpost is one of the Hernand sites that must be cleared before some local activities open up. The Torn Encirclement quest focuses on breaking the enemy hold around the outpost and securing the defensive position.

• Approach from the road north of Hernand, using Hook Rapids and the Hills of No Return as route markers.

• Destroy or disrupt enemy structures where the quest asks for it before focusing on remaining fighters.

• Clear the outpost defenders and secure the area to complete the liberation flow.

Bounty Connection

After Vilkom Outpost is liberated, the Haldin bounty can appear. Haldin is disguised as a Hernand guard inside the outpost and tries to flee when exposed, so be ready to chase and capture him instead of treating the encounter like a normal duel.

The Haldin notice is associated with theft of military supplies, matching the outpost setting and its military role.

Travel Notes

• Use the outpost as a checkpoint when moving between central Hernand and the northern road network.

• If Haldin does not appear, verify that the outpost is already liberated and that you have picked up the relevant bounty notice.

• The outpost sits in a combat-heavy route, so restock healing and ammunition before starting the liberation quest.
