Overview

Ursula's Treasure Map is a document in Crimson Desert. According to its in-game description: A map that shows the location of Ursula's treasure. She marked it in shorthand to keep others from deciphering it. This map is a key item in the Buried Treasure faction quest and ultimately leads players to the Black Sun Shield, hidden in a secret chamber beneath a bridge in Demeniss.

How to Obtain

Ursula's Treasure Map is obtained as part of the Buried Treasure faction quest chain. The process begins when the player picks up a bounty notice for Ursula from the purple bounty board flyers in Demeniss. The bounty task involves capturing Ursula, an outlaw who was spotted cultivating dangerous crops at the Slopeseed Farm.

After capturing Ursula and handing her over to the authorities, the player receives Ursula's Journal. Reading this journal from the inventory triggers the Buried Treasure quest. Following the quest marker leads to a house where the treasure map itself can be found on a table inside.

Using the Map

Ursula's Treasure Map marks three spots in the surrounding area. The player must visit each marked location and dig at dirt mounds to uncover traces left behind by Ursula.

• Basic Shovel required: Only a basic shovel will trigger the digging prompt at these mounds. An upgraded shovel will not work.

• Three digging sites: Each mound is located near landmarks such as a scarecrow, a hay pile, and a lake fence in the area surrounding the farm.

• Examine traces: After finding all three traces, open your inventory and examine each one. This completes the current task and opens the next objective: Find Ursula's Secret Place.

Ursula's Secret Place

The final step leads to a hidden chamber in the city of Demeniss. Ursula's Secret Place is located in the watery area beneath a long stone bridge leading toward the main castle. To find the entrance:

1. Jump into the water and swim under the bridge. Head to the archway farthest from the castle.

2. Look for a wall with a faint leaf symbol etched onto it. This marks the hidden door.

3. Climb the wall and use the Left Trigger (or Stab) to plunge your weapon into it while hanging.

4. While attached to the wall, use Force Palm to flip the trick wall open. The player will flip with it and land inside the secret room.

Important: Do not punch the wall while standing on the ground or in the water. Doing so causes the secret door to open briefly and slam shut before the player can enter.

Reward

Inside the hidden chamber is a treasure chest containing the Black Sun Shield. The shield has the following stats:

Tips

• Make sure to keep a basic shovel in your inventory before starting this quest. The upgraded shovel does not trigger the dig prompt at the marked mounds.

• The Buried Treasure quest becomes available only after completing the Ursula bounty capture. Check the bounty board flyers in Demeniss for the initial notice.

• Ursula runs immediately when you approach the quest area at Slopeseed Farm. Watch the bounty icon on your map to track her movement.

• The leaf symbol on the wall beneath the bridge can be difficult to spot. Swim slowly and look closely at each wall surface under the archways.
