The Weight of Knowledge is a Hernand Commission quest in Crimson Desert that takes place at the Institute of Knowledge in Scholastone. The Institute Steward tasks Kliff with investigating who stole a forbidden book by questioning five suspects and reporting the findings. This quest is notable for its tricky investigation answers, as the Steward responds the same way regardless of whether you answer correctly or not.
The Weight of Knowledge becomes available after finishing the main quest at the Scholastone Institute. It appears in the Hernand Commissions faction quest list.

Head to the Institute of Knowledge in Scholastone. Locate the Institute Steward in the library, who is discussing a missing forbidden book with a scholar. Speak with the Steward to learn about the theft.
Talk to Amaris, who provides you with the Investigative Log and identifies the five suspects. This log tracks your investigation progress.
Visit and question each of the five suspects at their marked locations around the institute:

Return to the Steward and answer the investigation questions. The Steward responds the same way regardless of your answers, making it difficult to tell if you answered correctly. Use these correct answers:

After answering all questions, the Steward marks a location on your map. Head to one of the lower floors and go behind the building to find Javier. Tackle him and tie him up to complete the quest.
Pay close attention to each suspect's alibi during questioning. The clues about Javier being the thief are woven into the other suspects' testimonies.
The Kinetic Dolphin Family trophy can be displayed in your home or sold to a vendor for silver.
