Crimson Desert features 24 legendary animals spread across the world, including legendary predators, herbivores, horses, and fish. Players can discover the locations of these creatures through several methods, most notably by purchasing sighting documents from merchants.

The sighting document system works as follows:

1. Build trust with merchants, particularly Saddlery and Tannery vendors, to 100.

2. Once trust is maxed, the merchant's inventory may include sighting documents for sale.

3. Purchase and read the document from your inventory to unlock creature knowledge.

4. Check Others > Knowledge > Creatures > Legendary to view the creature's distinguishing features and habitat.

5. Use the map button in the knowledge entry to reveal the creature's location on the world map.

The Legendary Hunter's Whereabouts may indicate the last known position of a legendary hunter NPC or serve as a sighting-type document pointing toward a specific legendary creature. Alternative Method for Legendary Animal Locations

Players who find sighting documents too slow or unreliable can defeat Black Fang, the legendary wolf in the Forest of Wolves within Hernand. Defeating Black Fang drops Leebur's Soul, an item that permanently reveals all 24 legendary animal locations on the map at once.

• Saddlery and Tannery merchants have the highest chance of offering sighting documents when their trust reaches 100.

• Consider saving your game before reaching 100 trust with a merchant, as not every merchant is guaranteed to offer a sighting document upon maxing out trust.

• This document cannot be sold back once purchased (vendor price of 1 Copper is the buy price).
