The facility functions as a sanatorium and is the setting for the Familiar Curses faction quest. Beyond its role in the questline, the House of Healing contains a cleverly hidden treasure that most players miss entirely: inside one of the towers, a destructible floor tile conceals a secret chamber with a chest containing the Blackwing Leather Boots. Reaching this hidden treasure requires a specific sequence of actions that the game never explicitly tells you about.
