The Specialized Storage System is an upcoming Crimson Desert feature announced in the Developer Roadmap: April to June 2026. It adds four dedicated storage types that sit alongside Private Storage and help players sort a growing pile of cooking materials, gear, gatherables, and collection items.

Why It Is Being Added

Crimson Desert's inventory grows quickly once the player starts cooking, crafting, and liberating locations. Private Storage alone fills up fast, especially for players who gather materials for later use or maintain multiple armor sets. The Specialized Storage System splits storage by category so the main inventory and Private Storage stay focused on active gear.

Four New Storage Types

Relationship to Existing Storage

• Private Storage: remains the primary personal storage for loot from liberated locations and boss kills.

• Document Storage: continues to hold lore notes, letters, and journal entries.

• The new specialized storage types are additive and do not replace any existing storage feature.

Release Window

The system is planned for release during the April-June 2026 roadmap window. Specifics may change before launch, and Pearl Abyss has not yet published per-feature release dates.
