Overview

Shoddy Rishi's Boots are High Quality Leather Armor footwear in Crimson Desert. They are a mobility-focused boot item with the Rishi's Footsteps effect, allowing consecutive combat evades when the dodge input is tapped twice.

The boots are also a required material for crafting Kuku Rishi's Boots, so they matter even if you do not plan to wear the shoddy version long-term.

How to Obtain

The confirmed farm target is the Fundamentalist Goblin group around the Spire of Insight in the Steel Mountains area south of Hernand. The drop is not guaranteed, so save before clearing the group if you are specifically farming the boots.

• Travel to the Spire of Insight area and find the goblins outside the tower route.

• Defeat and manually loot the goblins before fully clearing nearby objectives.

• If the boots do not drop, reload from a manual save rather than assuming the area will reliably respawn.

Use

Rishi's Footsteps is the main reason to try the boots. The effect supports evasive melee play by extending dodge options during combat, which is useful against enemies that punish long recovery windows.

For progression, keep at least one pair for the Kuku crafting route. The upgraded Kuku version requires Shoddy Rishi's Boots, an Enhanced Kuku Pot, and Abyss Cells.
