The situation has become urgent. Scout Shane went to reconnoiter Pailune but has not made contact. Kliff meets Torstein at the bridge in Beighen and rides with him toward Pailune. The plan is to rendezvous at a safe house that Torstein prepared in advance. This is the first quest of the Dawnrise sub-chapter.
Proceed to the bridge in Beighen and meet Torstein there. Mount your horse and travel alongside him. The ride proceeds through the countryside until a cutscene triggers automatically, advancing the story and parting ways.
After parting from Torstein, continue independently heading northward through woodland terrain. Follow the objective marker until you reach a red-colored structure. Enter this building to trigger a cutscene. Successfully securing the safe house completes the quest.
