Like all Sealed Abyss Artifacts, it contains an Abyss Artifact that can be unsealed after completing the associated Challenge. The in-game description reads: "An artifact sealed tight with an unknown power. A sacred energy can be sensed from it."

1414 Pick up the artifact from the stone altar to add it to your inventory and register the Animal Meat challenge. Complete the challenge by discovering all eight types of meat knowledge throughout Pywel. Once the challenge is finished, open your inventory and unseal the artifact to receive the Abyss Artifact and Gourmet III Abyss Core.
