11 "Rage" is not a canonical status effect in the live Windrose build. It is a carryover label from the game's pre-launch naming, and it survives in some community references. In the Early Access build, the Executioner halberd's on-kill critical-hit buff is called Decimation, and the paired Epic-tier damage-resistance effect is called Apathy. Both effects are documented on the Decimation page.

1414 Windrose went through several pre-launch name changes during its transition from the Crosswind project to the Kraken Express studio rebrand in early 2026. Some status-effect names, and some armor-set names, shifted between the demo period and the April 14, 2026 Early Access launch. "Rage" is one of those shifted labels: the Crosswind-era naming used Rage and Ward for the Executioner halberd's two effects, and at launch these became Decimation and Apathy. Secondary community sources that still say "Rage" are referring to the same mechanic under its earlier label.
