2019 Equip the Logging Axe through the Equipment Wheel (hold D-Pad Left / F3 on PC) and approach a tree. Each tree takes about three swings to fell. The Logging Mastery effect improves woodcutting speed, so the more you use the tool, the more efficient gathering becomes.
